A large group of friends and I visited OHSO Saturday afternoon, enjoying the nice weather on the patio, excited to catch several of the ongoing March Madness basketball games. After waiting 30 minutes to be seated, we ended up at one of the tables on the patio. The only TV within view for approximately one-third of the patio tables (including ours) was on wrestling thought it was clear most customers wanted to watch the games. As we found out later, the manager had taken a bribe from a customer to keep one of the TVs on the wrestling match. The business practice of pleasing one individual while angering at least 25 others does not seem like a successful long-run strategy. And to sweeten the deal, the wrestling fan customer (who was not really watching the television most of the time) was apparently free to respond with obscenities to anyone who questioned him and asked to have the channel changed, making for an uncomfortable atmosphere. When we told the hostess about the issue, she agreed to seat us at another table, great! But after collecting our things and heading over to the new table, we were informed that, no, just kidding - the table was unavailable after all, so we were sent right back, food and drinks in hand, without an apology, much to the amusement of the wrestling fan who added "it sucks to be you." The hostess didnt bother coming up with any additional solutions, and the server seemed uninterested in helping, so we finally requested to speak with the manger. I was pulled aside and received a half-hearted apology, and informed that the wrestling fan had called ahead so it didnt really matter what everyone else wanted (gee, thanks for the understanding). The manager, who never bothered making his way out to our table to apologize to the rest of our group, at least offered to comp part of our tab. Although this was too little too late, and should have been offered by the server initially rather than me having to hunt down the manager after putting up with the verbal onslaught of the wrestling fan which the server no doubt heard. Additionally, the owners of OHSO would probably not be too pleased knowing their manager is pocketing cash from one customer, while simultaneously comping free food to other angry customers (which equals cash for him and losses to the restaurant, aka "stealing"). As if the verbal abuse wasnt enough, we can add assault to the OHSO experience, as the wrestling fan bumped into me in the hallway on his way out, telling me to come fight him in the parking lot. Not sure if any employees noticed or cared. The situation could have been corrected, reversed, or at least de-escalated at so many points in time, but the OHSO staff failed at every opportunity. Even the gracious-in-spirit response by the manager felt insincere and underwhelming. Giving OHSO a 1-star rating is probably being generous, and, needless to say, Ill never be back.

11/15/14 7:30ish PM visit. First, what is happening to this planet that a brewery has valet parking?! Honestly, how can you promote cycling and active lifestyle in your pub and then have valet parking? It appears that the city should not have issued an occupancy number as high as it did since you cant park the cars for the number of people who patronize your establishment. Someone will get hit by a car dashing across Indian School because they parked on the south side of the street. i assume theres a kickback by the valet company to the restaurant, why else would a brewery have valet parking? So, after shoehorning ourselves into a non-valeted parking spot we got to meet the rather unhappy and unpleasant hostess. Without a smile or warm greeting we were asked about inside or outside seating. Were all about sitting outside so she sent us to the back of the restaurant (great idea with the little paw prints we needed to follow). When we saw the hostess on the patio she informed us that we would have to wait 45-60 minutes. Wow, it would have been helpful if the first hostess would have said, "we have inside seating immediately and outside seating that will be approximately an hour wait, which would you prefer?" So, our group of 4 four turned around and went back to the surely hostess up front who just sent us on a little walk. Seats remained available in the dining area we were in for the roughly 75 minutes we were there. They had a nice selection of beer. Being a wheat fan and how everyone seems to be going IPA these days it was nice to have some wheat variety. The pretzel platter was good, based on a review recommendation. Everyone one at the table had something different and it was all enjoyed. Our waitress was great, funny, attentive and lighthearted. I dont know if Ill be back. The parking issue really got under my skin, and many other reviewers, and the hostess needs an attitude adjustment...but the beer and food were worth returning for, perhaps I should stick to weekday afternoons? 2 of the 4 of us had beer, 4 entrees and 1 appetizer came to $87, not including tip...and Im a 20%+ guy.

Food was good but a little on the expensive side. The parking is awful! When I got there I didnt want the valet parking so I drove past the booth assuming that there would be parking on the other side. This is typical for any place with valet parking...Apparently that other side was designated for valet parking only and there were NO signs clearly stating that. Realizing my mistake, I needed to turn around, but the parking was so tight that the only way to turn around is to follow the path behind the building and then make a U-turn. One of the valet drivers followed me got out of his car and got snappy, stating that I was in the "valet only parking". I was already in the process of turning around to get out of there, I didnt need that a$$hole to give me attitude. I ended up parking at the funeral home next door. To conclude, the food was good but not exceptional to where you would want to deal with horrendous parking and snappy valet drivers. There are other restaurants with food just as good, less expensive, and BETTER parking. In my opinion, its not worth the hassle.

I came here with my friend for brunch for her birthday and it was poppin on a Sunday. lol. We were lucky enough to get seats on the patio right away actually. I ordered the breakfast bowl and added steak to it. We also ordered the garlic pesto hummus to share. Everything was actually very delicious. The portions are a pretty good size because I couldnt finish everything. Another good thing is if you order something on their brunch menu on Saturday or Sunday you get a 10 oz beer or Mimosa with your meal. Score! I absolutely love that the patio is dog friendly! There were so many cute doggies there and its a very good sized patio. Im not sure if they do reservations, however if they do, i recommend getting one if youre sitting on the patio on a weekend. I came back here with my fiance on another Sunday and it was so packed that it was an hour wait so we ended up having to go else where. Other then the wait, everything was fantastic! I cant wait to come back with my furbabies!

Came for lunch and drinks on a Thursday afternoon. It seemed busy but not crowded. Service was great. Alexa was a wonderful waitress - super quick and made excellent drink recommendations. She took her time and gave a rundown of the entire beer list. Our family tried both a red and a white sangria as well as 2 flights of beer. All were delicious but the red sangria, and Morning Brew and Peanut Brittle beers were my favorites - they genuinely tasted like coffee and peanuts. Best food Ive ever had at a brewery as well. The jalapeno polenta was phenomenal and I loved the Ensalada Del Sol - great spicy chicken and cilantro-lime dressing. The restaurant and bar areas were clean, the ambiance was nice, and the patio out back looked inviting (and is dog-friendly). Would highly recommend for lunch or drinks (or both)!
