Fantastic food in a cozy environment. If you like ribs, this is one of the top places to get em. Like most great places in Phoenix, its located in a shopping strip and hidden if you dont look for it. The staff is great, the atmosphere quiet and relaxing, and the food - amazing. So, why 4 stars? First, pricing. While the food is good, its not the $20+ range that Phoenix City Grille charges. For that price, you can go to a couple other places around there and get good food for a lot less. Second, parking. I know theres not much that can be done about it, but the parking is horrocious. This is one of those places that definitely needs valet. Finally, wait time. It can be a bit of a wait depending on when you go, but its understandable; the space is smaller, but adds to the atmosphere. All in all, a good joint with good food. You wont be disappointed.

My wife and I very much enjoyed our Valentines Day lunch at Phoenix City Grille. Original Griddled Corn Cakes were unique and excellent, and Baby Back Pork Ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender with a wonderful flavor (re: ribs...Im very particular, and PCG scored a perfect 10!). We split a Roasted Beet Salad for an appetizer... great! PCG offers 4 or 5 daily specials in addition to their wonderful regular menu, so Im sure youd find something to please your palate. To top it off, we received excellent service. Reasonable prices. Great restaurant.

Ive always heard this place was great, so I finally decide to check it out. My experience was awful! 1st, I was there about 6:00 or 7 minutes maybe even almost 10 before anybody came over and asked me anything and there were 3 people behind the bar. I had to ask for a menu, ask for a drink menu I ordered a salad without tomato, when I was finally delivered it was tomato all through it. I had to ask for my check nobody asked me how I was doing. The bartender took my order disappeared later. I will never come-back to this place

Ive been here dozens of times and each time theyre 5 stars. The queso dip is the 2nd best in the city! I hear its the same owners and Sierra Bonita... The street tacos are amazing and along with the green and red salsa theyre the best in the city. The portion size is bigger than avg. The prices are spot on for what your get and definitely worth it. Not cheap, not expensive. Service is always fast and friendly. Not hipster, not trendy. Just awesome food and great service.

Not even worth it. The entire crew was unprofessional and my chicken tasted like fish. Didnt even know who was my server. Plus only saw 2 people; one who gave me my drink and meal then did a Houdini and disappeared. The next was the person who gave me my bill. Thats it!! No one even asked" ohh how was your meal, or is everything ok". I dont understand what the rave is all about, I Will never go back. If I could have rated it a minus 5 stars I would have.

Ate lunch here the other day and was very impressed with the service, the decor, the noise level, and definitely the food. I had the pork chili and a grilled chicken sandwich. Both were excellent. Chili was quite tasty with just the right mix of beans/meat. Sandwich had just the right amount of toppings and super fresh bread. We sat at the bar and had a very nice bartender helping us out. I look forward to coming back and trying out dinner.

This was a great little place to eat; atmosphere was intimate, though no one was there when we went. The beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection, and the mushrooms were an great complement. The salmon was delicious as well, needed a bit of lemon, but otherwise great. The vegetables with the salmon were superb. Pricing was ok for the food quality!

Walked in and was seated immediately. Server was very patient in helping choose a beer from an extensive menu. Asked for recommendation for dinner and went by suggestion. Great choice! Attentive staff and great meal! Saw owner helping serve and bus tables due to staff shortage. Atmosphere - dark and romantic. Highly recommend! :-)

I highly recommend the ribs and french fries for your meal. We always have left overs and we use the meat on something the next day.. i always leave full and tastebuds completely satisfied! From what I hear everything else is pretty good too.. but I just think you should try the ribs(just a little spicy and great flavor).

Wow their corn cakes are AMAZING. The only reason I marked 4 and not 5 stars was the wait for the cakes because it was longer than expected, but most definitely worth it! They were so yummy and the black beans that go along with them are fantastic as well. If you go here definitely order this!!!

“Awesome food!” I was in AZ for a month and this was the best meal Ive had! My husband had the meatloaf and loved it, I had the sea food special that had scallops, sea bass and crab cake. It was spectacular, melted in your mouth! My friend had a steak and he too said it was excellent.

Never had a bad meal or service. Great warm atmosphere, dining and bar. Not too noisy. Reasonably priced menu items. They also serve full dinner menu at lunch time. Great place for to bring a client, date, spouse, family or friends for lunch or dinner.

At one time this was my favorite restaurant, but they changed the menu and the food/service isnt as good as it once was. The food is still average to above-average and a nice place to meet people, but it aint like it used to be.

Amazing food. I had the chicken sandwich special of the day, with chili relish and a side of their tomato pesto soup. The music was very pleasing, a good blend of Mumford & Sons and related music. Decor is very nice too.

Great place for lunch, dont go there hungry as portions are tiny. Ordered carne asada taco which wouldnt feed an infant, comes with nothing on the side. Service is excellent, guess thats what you are paying for!!

Delicious!! Our party had the short ribs, the Baja shrimp and the roasted vegetable dish and enjoyed them all. Loved the warm chocolate torte for dessert. Service was outstanding. Would highly recommend!!

A really nice and friendly neighborhood restaurant, with delicious food. Of all the new restaurants in North Central Phoenix, few if any are as good, and none have been around for decades like this one.

We have been to PCG about 7 times over 2 years and its a favorite. We travel all the way from Surprise to go there. Friendly service, great food, at a reasonable, not cheap, price. Love it!

A little spendy but the corn cakes - yummy! Server didnt rush us at all - even on a busy Friday night. Very nice! Not sure if pot roast lived up to the hype. PCG pasta was good.
