Its got it all! I recently saw the signs on the I-17 for this place and thought to myself Ive got to try this place. Heading back to Flag, I decided to get out of the circus called the highway for a break. What a perfect time to check out a new (for me anyway.....turns out theyre going on their third year, just newly posted signs on the 17). I called to make sure they had a dog friendly patio and yay, they did! From the moment I walked on the patio, everyone was very friendly. They brought my dog water, and were very welcoming. They make quite a few of their own beers, with a great variety, and have a couple guest taps as well. I picked the Pecan Nut Brown - YUM!!!! The menu had a great selection, but not overwhelming with choices. Im a vegetarian, and there were enough choices for me. Any of their burgers, you can substitute the veggie patty for, and its a great selection. Id never seen a red wine burger before, and had to try it. Wow, what a unique idea, and really delicious!! The patio is really well shaded with lots of tables. The inside looks really cool too although I could only look at it from the doorway since I had my dog. Just a very pleasant experience all the way around!! A perfect place to stop for a bite, or just a break from highway hell. :)

We decided to try VB as we heard the craft beers were amazing. When we arrived we saw the sign out front advertising the Prime Rib Special. We ordered the special and the Honey Pot Stout. The Stout was amazing! So good we ordered a growler to go. There was absolutely NOTHING special about the prime rib. For $18.00 we were served an extremely small and extremely cold slice of what was called prime rib and an overly baked potato with dried cheese. No salad, no bread. Overpriced to say the least. When our server took both plates back to the kitchen to "fix things" she returned with the same cold slices of meat with luke warm au jus poured over it. She comped us a cheesecake for our trouble which wasnt anything remotely close to being cheesecake. We had it boxed and went back to out Hotel. Whats really pathetic is it was so bad our little dog wouldnt touch it! Maybe it was cooks night off?

The place has an acoustics problem. The ambient noise brings to mind terms like "chow hall", or "mess hall", or "middle school cafeteria". The waiter was also sweating enough that his face was wet and he kept wiping his bodily fluids from his eyes while serving us; no hand wash that I saw. I dont know if their beer is good. I ordered a bottle of pinot grigio and got brand Alcantara which sucked. Our waiter didnt open my bottle of wine at our table. Somebody should explain wine etiquette to him. They didnt think to ice the bottle for us while we had a glass. Okay, thats the constructive criticism out of the way. The place had a warm welcome feel to it. The staff was nice in a neighbourly kind of way. I understand why others have been more generous with their reviews.

First of all if you as a server cant sit people immediately especially when the restaurant is half empty then she shouldnt be offering the customers waiting for a table to pour them beers. A small brewery in a podunk town cant survive on their beer alone especially when their wait staff looks like the Wednesday "C" squad in a second rate strip club. Service and timeliness will make or break a place like this. The drinks and food better taste like Im taking God into my mouth if Im going to wait 30 minutes to be seated and an additional 30 after ordering. My first visit here was pleasant but this time around was just bad. This place could have some potential if they could work on some things ...

My boyfriend and I were on our way up to the Grand Canyon and saw a sign for this place on the highway. Were big fans of craft beer and decided to stop on a whim. We were not disappointed in the least! The atmosphere was very casual and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was out of this world! My boyfriend had the coffee milk stout and their pale ale along with green chile burger; I had the elk burger and Gold Buckle Ale. Everything was so flavorful and delicious, especially the fries. A wonderfully unexpected find - we will definitely be stopping back before we head home!

Verde Brewing Company has very tasting and filling food. Im not a fan of small portions or light food. The green chili burger my wife got was very heavy, lots of meat, and had a delicious spread. Frys were perfect. My pulled pork sandwhich was over the top delicious. Perfect amount of bbq sauce that also tasted delicious. The local nut brown ale was perfect. Great lighting inside and the staff was very friendly. The staff smiled all the time. They were behind the counter laughing and giggling. Happy place to eat and drink.

It was about a 30 min wait which is fine. We were told we could wait in the beer garden. We waited for about 15 min and the waitress never came to our table. She serviced all the other tables by us multiple times. One of us went inside to ask for some waters and we were told they were really busy right now so we would have to wait. We continued to wait 10 more minutes and still no service. So we decided to go down the street to JT Bistro... sooo much better!! Excellent service!

BEST BURGERS IN AZ!!!!! Get off the highway and visit this place!!! Got here 10 minutes before close. Service was great, beer was excellent, and the food.... OH MY WORD BEST DANG BURGER TO EVER HIT MY MOUTH. Best darn fries in AZ. Your gonna love this place I promise. Tuesdays buy one burger get one half off. Worth the trip, worth the money, pretty inexpensive $14 menu item average. We chose to sit outside and waitress brought our little kids blankets, how awesome is that?

The beers here are fantastic. Theyve got a great variety on tap. Try a flight of theor beers. Even if you dont like a particular style of beer, the beers are so solid you enjoy them anyway! We sat at the bar. The bartender is super friendly and great for suggestions. We are vegetarians, so the idea of burgers didnt appeal to us, but we found out that we can swap out meat for a portabella mushroom. It was fabulous! Their onion rings are sooooo good!

We were on our way to Sedona when we decided to stop and grab a quick lunch. Very laidback atmosphere with a dog friendly patio. Server was very friendly and efficient. Ordered a bacon burger with egg and an IPA. To my surprise, I enjoyed my burger. Had to take a star away because for my one burger with fries and one IPA my bill came out to $23 dollars. I felt that was a tad pricey. Other than that, I enjoyed my quick little stop here.

Absolutely loved this place! On our way back to the valley from Snowbowl and happen to run across this awesome spot! Friendly staff, local brews and wine, and not your Typical burgers... they are far superior! We tried the Red wine burger, Alaskan Cod tacos, and the Southwest burger, one word AMAZING! We were also able to catch the Greenbay and Redskins Game. We will definitely make it and after Snowboarding tradition!
