My husband and I have only been to the Fifth twice. The second time we went we invited a very nice well-do-do couple. They are sweet and not at all gregarious. The DJs mother (a bit eccentric, but sometimes that can be interesting), had too much to drink and caused a scene on the dance floor. My friends husband, who was in close proximity, is a meek, quiet, friendly professional. The woman said something to him rudely, and before he knew it he was accosted and dragged out of the bar where he was bullied and then punched squarely in the face!! The staff didnt even bother to ask what she was saying or whether or not he had anything to do with it! The queen bee was at fault. We will take our business elsewhere and never go there again. We spend a lot of money when we go out. They wont see a dime from us again. The Fifth is a 2-bit, sleazy dive-hole with a staff of unprofessional brutes! I hope my friend presses charges! Any upstanding person who cares about a reputation would not go in there... its a dirt-bag place!

Decent bar. The positives: the events are great. Always good music, sometimes there is comedy too. They have karaoke nights too if youre in to that. The drink prices are average, but they have some good nightly specials. This is a mid size bar so if youre looking for a personable experience with the staff, you should go elsewhere. Pool table is always taken. The patrons are generally respectful. I have never seen a fight break out. I recommend coming with a group of friends, just kick back in the cool booths and enjoy the band or comedy.

Good food and drinks. Service was great. This place has a lot of potential. Only problem is that I was offered crack by some of the patrons. Twice. And one of the less youthful patrons saw fit to hit on my barely 21 year old friend and proceeded to say the most raunchy stuff about the bartender... So, long story short, this place is good... besides the perverts and crack heads.

I wish I could give it "0" stars, what a terrible place. The staff is very rude for no reason. Oh, Im sorry for coming to your bar and buying a drink, it must be terribly inconvenient for you. Notice that everyone that gave this place 4 or 5 stars cant spell. If you have a brain cell in your head, avoid this place at all costs!

The fith is a nice place to go to when you want a drink and some good music. Convient location to walk to. Good service and prices are not to bad. Most of the time good music and musicians.
