The worst excuse of an Italian Deli...in America! FOOD: Italian Beef Sandwich - store bought sliced beef lunch meat in canned beef broth. Zero flavor. Pickled Giardinaire from a jar. Served on a MEXICAN ROLL! Small portions, no sides other than Frito-Lay products...those famous Italian Potato Chips, no pasta salad, olive salad, ANYTHING! Cannoli - Half the size of any cannoli I have ever had in Italy, New York or Chicago. Overly sweet and gloppy filling. No choices. I have had cannoli with preserved lemon peel, orange peel, mini chocolate chips or pistachios in the filling, ends dipped in what the filling is flavored. Expensive and SLOW! SERVICE: I walked in and felt like I was in a I Love Lucy Skit or a Marx Brothers movie. Old lady with a pad of paper and pen sitting about 10 inches from the front door. I said I saw them on YELP. She said "What duh ya want?" No suggestions. Order my food, was not offered any chance to order a beverage. She wrote me up, I took out my ATM card, she got on a phone call, so.I had to run my on transaction the hand her the merchants receipt. Without leaving her perch, another woman walked up and took my receipt, walked 15 feet, gave it to some old guy, who looked at it, and handed it to an even older guy. I was told to go sit in an adjacent room and they would bring me my food. Took 20 minutes to get the sandwich, and 40 minutes to get the cannoli. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY AND TIMES!

We are from the east coast and always looking for a good Italian deli in the Phoenix area. when we walked into this Deli it looks a bit run down with a lot of dust on the goods on the shelves. we went to the deli case to look at prosciutto the prosciutto was old an improperly wrapped because the color of the meat was dark brown. there was also mold on the top of it under the wrapper. there was a brand new prosciutto that wasnt out of the original package that looked fresh and when I asked what kind of prosciutto it was a woman working at the store yelled across the store at me that they cant open another prosciutto. it was very rude and we walked out. I wouldnt buy meat here it looked old and unkempt. Plus there is never a reason to tell at a customer when they are just asking a question.

Holy hell. I have never been to a spot like this. Me and a friend were looking for a spot to get some good ole Cajun food and decided to try little jewels. We were not disappointed at ALL. The shop itself is different. Instead of just a regular old restaurant it doubles as grocery store also. The restaurant side is in the back so make sure you look hard. We both got the #12 a combination shrimp and oyster po-boy sandwhich and shared the crawfish Mac and cheese. The sandwiches are HUGE Im a big guy and I honestly couldnt finish the whole thing. The Mac and cheese was really good as well. This spot is a MUST and definitely in my top 5 of restaurants Ive been to.Niccolis Italian Grocery-Deli is best.

I have heard fabulous reviews on Niccolis and actually found the location by accident having to go for an MRI right across the parking lot. Fabulous food, I enjoyed stuffed shells with meatballs, truly authentic and delicious. The grocery products were abundant with the wonderful classics for Italian cooking. Peppy and her sister Margaret were on duty and they were so gracious and generous and I instantly felt like I stepped back in time to my New Jersey roots and the dying art of true customer care and service. I will not only be back, I will tell everyone I know to go and discover this true gem in the Phoenix community.

As I googled Italian Grocery Stores a few years ago, a lot of delis and restaurants were provided. Niccolis is the only true grocery to buy 100% Italian products. They have so much fun taking care of customers that you feel good about that too. Wonderful store. I go there every winter I spend in PHX!!

Love this deli. All the Italian basics and a lot of packaged Italian delicacies. Great home made sausage and their homemade bread is excellent. Also biscotti and macaroons that have to be tried to believe how good they are. I come here about twice a month for a sandwich and some baked goods.

Although there is a limited selection of groceries, they consist of items you cannot find anywhere else. Imported dry pastas, sauces, and canned tomatoes just to name a few. Also, the selection of balsamic vinegars is unparalleled.
