I want this to be clear that i am having to take the time out of my day to review the sub shop, I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant in my life, if I could score you 0/5 I would. I have been coming to this sub shop for a year every week consitently at least 2 times a week I have a very easy sub that I get everytime I visit good cents as a matter of fact I frequent many goodcents specifically the one around 91st and Bell as well as 51snd Greenway and I have never experienced the unprofessionalism at any of those two chains as I have experienced at this chain. First I want to state the elderly Hispanic lady with the glasses is very nice, when she makes my sandwiches she is always nice and good when she creates them. However when I have to wait for two subs to be created that were ordered by phone before Im even helped that is ridiculious mind you I attempted to call 5 times the phone was picked up because I could hear the associates in the background and hung up shortly after. 5 times! I walk in and there is only one person in the front making these sandwiches while there are about 3-4 employees in the back talking and laughing not wanting to help me. So I wait about 5m finally Im greeted(mind you no one is in line) and Im told they have one more sandwich to make, I finally say I need to leave because Im late at that point is when they offer to make my sandwich but I cant because Im going to be late, So thank you Mr. Goodcents for contributing to my lunch less day. Your service is absolutely unacceptable and inexcusable. Also I hate having to tell the lady with the red hair and the glasses to change her gloves everytime she makes my sandwich after she scratched her head with her gloves on, its disgusting. You shop does not help foster brand loyalty, after a year of coming to this chain I will never come her again. I hope the owners read this and I will be calling your corporate office to make a complaint.

I just seen this while looking for somewhere else to eat. Although it has been probably a year now, I still remember the first and only time I went in. I didnt even get to try the food cause the mgr/asst mgr got into an argument with me over asking questions and observing and pointing out food prep violations as he made my sandwich which I felt ill just watching him make. So as the argument got louder, he finally said to get the f* out of the store and do him the favor of never coming back. What awesome customer service, luckily theres a Subway shop a little further north on 19th Ave. But really, I dont care how bad your day is going, if Im a customer, trying your place of employment for the first time and I tell you that right up front, I should be allowed to ask questions and not be rudely told to leave. Than again, maybe he saved me from a horrible experience with food poisoning. Oh and btw, I usually dont review and when I do, its usually because a place was amazing but since I was here and still have a bad memory of this a year or so later, I felt I should leave a rant. I really like the Mom & Pop shops and try to frequent them as much as possible and it saddens me that this little place could have made a permanent customer instead of a person who will never go there and have told many in my apartment complex down on Bell Rd not to even go in. The power of word of mouth works both ways.

My family and I walked in and were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait by the sandwich maker, because he was working on a large party platter. Meanwhile, a lady was putting cookies away and folding new packages. She also sent the other worker out to wipe down tables that were already clean. We waited about 10 minutes and listened to her complain to the guy that was making the sandwiches that they dont split tips with the employees that go in the back. I asked for the manager and learned it was the lady with the cookies and told her that she should be out helping instead of just standing around. She said she had to put the cookies away and still would not help us, so we walked out. We left and went to Filibertos and spent $32, food and service was great there!

I used to really like this place but it has gone way downhill. The last 4 times I ordered delivery they were 30 minutes to 1 hour late. They dont discount it at all and no apologies. This time I ordered and it never showed up. I finally called them from my cell for them to tell me oh sorry we dont have a delivery driver and your cell phone number is not working. Well thats funny, I just called you on it. WHY do you have the ability to order online delivery IF YOU CANT DELIVER???????????????? never coming back here again. It is unfortunate because I really like their food.

This place is awesome. Unlike many of the typical chain sub shops, you can actually taste different flavors in their sandwiches! Their bread is night-&-day-difference better than Subway. And, you can order online. They deliver, but I havent tried that yet -- since I only live around the block. Next time youre thinking about Subway, Blimpie, or Quiznos, DONT. If youre not close, its seriously worth the drive. The only negatives about this place are that they slice their cheese way too thin (order double cheese, if you like cheese) and there arent enough locations!!!

"Older" seating area but clean and nice. They had the new cola fountain dispenser. New easy to understand menu. I love the choice of 4 sub sizes, I wish the competition had 4 choices - Not the typical small sub(too small), and large sub(too large). Very few toppings for some, but for me its exactly what I needed. Only setback was the bathroom was a little raggity, but this wasnt completely unexpected for a quick sub sandwich joint and the local homeless people milling around outside. Overall, the sub was great and the prices were right on par with the competition.

They do make a pretty good sandwich, it is my second favorite sandwich place to go to (subway has my heart) but Goodcents is really good. They do offer choice which is always a plus because it makes the customer feel like they are in charge, choice is always important to the customer which Goodcents doesnt offer it like Subway but Goodcents does have better meats and sandwiches (gotta give credit where its do) overall Goodcents is a sandwich shop in the works and can have a very bright future ahead of them if they keep going the way the are now

Listen, the food was average Fast Food sub stuff, get the order in get the food out. Fresh baked bread makes the place smell great. The staff is on top of everything, they are fantastic. This is a one star rating because I found out that the tip jar at the register does not get split between the workers, it goes into the owners pockets. The purpose of a tip is to reward the workers for great service, not to line the owners pockets with more profit. I will never grace the door of this place again and I suggest you stay away also.
