I read many reviews about this place and thought this was going to be like going to an old school deli in Chicago or New York. We walked in the front door this Sunday morning at 10 am and there were 5 other customers in the place. It had a very cafeteria dining look and feel. There were all sorts of items in steamer bins. The amounts of items made me wonder how often they made them. I mean more than a dozen of nearly everything in steamers including stuffed cabbage. We saw potato pancakes on the menu. We ordered two with both sour cream and apple sauce (a total of 6) and a bowl of fruit. As the girl was making the fruit bowl, I saw the cook grab some frozen latkes out and drop them into the deep fry basket. I tried to get him to stop but he was oblivious and dunked the basket. I asked the girl if he was making a mistake or is that the way they make latkes. She said that is how they do it. I apologized for not wanting to stay but explained that they should let their customer know that they are paying a Kings ransom for deep fried Eggos before they order. I asked her if they made the steamed food fresh daily and she said that they make batches of food at night 2 times a week. We left in disgust. I cannot believe the prices that they charge for low quality greasy spoon slop. We walked to Someburros next door and they made us fresh food from scratch and the entire bill with two custom made burros, coffees, chips, salsa, and fruit was $18.

This review specifically reflects the quality of the food. I had a pastrami and roast beef sandwich with lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. The meat was obsurdly dry, it seemed as if they sun dried the meat in the Sahara desert for 7 suns before Abar traveled 120 miles to the nearest airport to ship it to the states. Needless to say it tasted old and dry. One sandwich wouldnt ruin our day, no no. My wife got the chicken and bacon sandwich (Brooklyn chicken sandwich) the chicken tasted old like the waste management wasnt able to pick up the trash can from out back and then you have a heaping concoction of what some may call bio hazard, the sandwich wasnt finished. Both of us are sick for the rest of the day 8+ hrs ago. Food quality 0/10* would not recommend for human consumption Service 8/10 they served us alright.

Very friendly staff, clean dinning area, very attentive to customers. Im not sure what part Troy plays but he walked the floor asking how the food was, and I overheard him apologize to a customer for a mix up with the order and offered a free desert, the cheese cake looks amazing. The portions are hearty, I had the Turckcado, which was delicious I only had half. Troy was making his rounds and I asked for a to go box and he brought me an ice water to go as well. This would have been 5 stars but I didnt care for the potato salad, it was strangely sweet which even overpowered the strong onion undertone. I will definitely recommend this place and look forward to trying some of the other delicious dishes I saw other patrons enjoying.

OK let me say first, Miracle Mile Deli is the KATZ of the west. This place is fantastic for the gray matter if you are from NYC. When I visit Miracle Mile I always try something different because everything is so good. Growing up on the lower east side of Manhattan I have had a lot of deli foods in my day and this place is one of the best in the USA. It is the best Deli food in Phoenix or the west coast for that matter. And I think it’s the only place to go for real Deli food. Thank you JOSH

Miracle Mile Delicatessen was more like Down The Road. Definitely not close to Any of the LA Delicatessens! I dont mind paying $11 for a pastrami or corn beef sandwich but was not expecting the cafeteria order line! As for the pastrami sandwich it was thin and had no flavor. The rye bread was perfect. And the boils potatoes were good as well. Overall I was disappointed. If the sandwich was good and the sides were bad I can forgive but I wont be returning.

They just started serving breakfast and it was awesome. My son loved the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes and my wife really enjoyed the Super Nova Lox. I love chorizo, so I went for the Empire State Burrito. They use an excellent Beef Chorizo which made it a great breakfast burrito, plus I love the chips and Green Chile Crema sauce for the chips and burrito. We always grab lunch and dinner here, best Pastrami in Phoenix, but now they will see us a lot for breakfast.

Loved this place as a kid at Christown Mall. Their new and modern location is wonderful and the staff is as genuine as ever. They always smile and welcome you like youre family. Best pastrami sandwich on the valley, and if youre looking for comfort food like mom used to make, this is the place. And on rainy days when I am suffering with a cold and congestion, their fresh made soup and contagious smiles cant be beat!

First and Last Time. My first visit to this deli and I was treated like an idiot for not knowing about their menu, sides, kitschy lingo, etc. The meat was dry. The sourdough bread tastes nothing like sourdough and it falls apart like regular white bread. They didnt even give me a napkin. So not worth the $12. Oh yeah, and TWELVE DOLLARS for a deli sandwich?! Will not be back.

I love this deli and the story behind it. They have the greatest pastrami in town. Their story is so great, and they have been around for decades. Its family-owned, and they stick to their family recipes, which I can appreciate. When you want to mix it up a little bit, try the Corned Beef & Cabbage.

Miracle Mile has been one of my favorite delicatessens for years now. I just had a Reuben and my wife had the Mac & Cheese. Both were great! The portions, as usual, were fairly large. Glad to see some things dont change.

Two females exited the rest room stalls at this location and did not wash their hands. I followed them out and they went into the kitchen. Gross! The food overall is decent but less than palatable after the above.

Despite its lack of ambiance (it looks like a cafeteria), the sandwiches are juicy and delicious. It makes for a great lunch if youre in a hurry and want something better than jimmy johns or subway.

Used to be one of my favorite. Not any more. The food is now below average. With a meal for two costing over $25 if I want average I would save my money and go to subway

I always get the pastrami when I go there. Everything else looks very good. My friends are always happy with their choices off of the menu when I take them here.
