I moved to Phoenix nearly 2 years ago from Georgia. This has become a favorite spot for my daughter & me. We love visiting this magical place with its delicious donuts & warm family atmosphere. Its a place where everybody knows your name & theyre always glad you came. Lol I laugh but its so true! I am actually shocked that people prefer store donuts over these yummy gems. Ive brought these donuts to clients with rave reviews (call ahead orders available!) & my out of town guests demand to visit here. I absolutely adore this shop & the people in it. Im a customer for life no matter where I end up in the world. :)

Cant say it enough about this place. First time in and I couldnt decide....so like any level headed person I just bought a dozen. They were so helpful guiding me thru a magical donut Safari from a Jamaican inspired donut with hot sauce. To a savery overload known only as the extream Elvis. Trust me.... You need this in your life. The staff is very welcoming but the love they put into these little gems shines so bright. I will be back... Again. And again. And again.

They Named a Donut after me! if you check my previous review I suggested you try the Apple pie with Bacon caramel and Pecans. Well we tweeked it and "the Carlton" was born yes the description has a typo but they left it cause all my friends razz me about it! Love, Love, Love, this place,the staff, and the donuts. Have invented two donuts for you to try! I give you the Extreme Elvis Tm. : Banana frosting, chopped peanuts, Peanut butter drizzle, and BACON!

Super nice staff, clean restaurant...I really wanted to love this place. Unfortunately the prices were 4 times what youll pay for a donut next door at Albertsons. Of course it could be worth the high price, but... The donuts dont seem to be thoroughly baked. They are soggy, taking on an unusual amount of oil. 3 stars for a good idea, friendly staff. Loss of 2 stars for serving soggy overpriced donuts.

Made to Order Custom Donuts served Warm! What a difference to have a donut served warm and the ability to pick your Gourmet toppings like Maple & Bacon! Yum! I would highly recommend this to all my family and friends. If its not close to you it is worth the drive trust me! The customer service was great as well being a family owned company they understand customer service!

Customer service is on point. Wonderful people work here. Super friendly and eager to make suggestions. The donuts are out of this world good. They are cake-like and super yummy. Affordable. Small size, but perfect I think. They are fried upon order and nice and warm. I cant wait to come back here every day for breakfast for the duration of my vacation.

Great staff, this is a family owned donut shop, my daughter goes to school with one of their boys. They make the donuts right in front of you and you can have them add whatever toppings you can imagine! A really fun place for kids and freshly made donuts are the best!

Yum! This is now one of my favorite donut shops, how often can you stop in and get made to order donuts in about 15 minutes? They also have great coffee and a few tables inside and out, if youd like to sit down and enjoy that HOT donut.

Great Donuts... I have not been to Desert Donuts in person yet, however, I had some delivered to me out in Surprise, AZ. It was absolutely amazing. I was eating donuts for lunch and didnt think twice about it. Highly recommend.

Balanced is the word that comes to mind Not too heavy and not too light. Warm, rich, sweet but not shockingly sugary. REAL bacon bits on the bacon blast, works perfectly with the maple frosting. And the lemon bar donut... Divine!!

Hidden treasure! Donuts are made fresh to order and have delicious and surprising combinations (bacon maple with hot sauce? Yes please!). Ive enjoyed every combination Ive had so far, and keep coming back. Highly recommended.

Delicious! So what if it costs a bit more.. Want a cheap doughnut, go to Walmart. Cant get steak at a burger place. This is gourmet meets doughnut & well worth my drive to get here from northern Phoenix area!

Donuts are too thick and spongy and need to be larger and fluffier. Recipe or method for dough needs to be re-enginnered. Otherwise some of the best customer service around. Keep going!
