I just had some of the worst customer service Ive ever had at a restaurant. My three-year-old son has an extensive list of allergies and I wanted to be able to get him a salad he could enjoy. When I engaged the employee taking my order and inquired about ingredients in things like their pork, I was told it came prepackaged. I asked if they could possibly look at the box and I was told the ingredients werent listed on there. Ive run into that before, its fine. So then I moved onto asking for eggs and some bacon and some vegetables to go on his salad. For dressings, I asked if they had oil and vinegar and they didnt. So I asked what was in the vinaigrette, instead of even answering my question the employee turned their back on me and started helping the next person. At this point I just gave up and went to sit down after paying. My son ate the eggs, bacon and beans out of his salad but nothing else because there was no dressing. I went back up to the counter and explained that we needed more eggs and bacon for my sons salad because he was only picking at it with no dressing. I was literally given a table spoon of each and charged for 2 proteins ($3.89) for a portion that didnt even fill the plastic ramekin it came in. For a restaurant whose website boasts fresh ingredients made at each location, I find what I dealt with absolutely offensive. I was ignored and basically shunned whenever I tried to ask a question about what I was trying to put in my sons body. I will not be coming back. We ended up going to a different restaurant to feed my son afterwards so that he didnt go home hungry.

Second time in two weeks now and they cant seem to figure out a to go order. I ordered for 6 people before and they screwed it up completely. They messed up the salads, I personally ordered the large Lobster bisque and a completely different soup came with the lobster bisque lid on it. When I sent someone back to get the right food, he was told they were then out of the soup and he would have to wait there for 30 minutes until it was ready. I of course declined and they provided nothing at all in return. No credit for the screw up or any attempt thereof. Today I decided to try it again. Ordered for 9 this time and of course they managed to charge me for everything but AGAIN leave out MY Lobster bisque. I called the store and the young lady who took the order answered the phone and said yes I remember the order and oh yea here it is sitting under the warmer. Would I like to come pick it up? I told her I wasnt interested in picking up soup sitting under a warmer for 45 minutes now and if I sent someone back there I would like fresh soup. I have requested the store manager to call me but to no avail at this time has there been any contact. Its a real shame that the customer service has been so poor there and the really feeble attempts to correct the situation. THEY REALLY DONT SEEM TO CARE !

I wish I had a better 1st experience here because I love to eat healthy and am always looking for great fast alternatives. I will have to try them out one more time before I write them off. Here is my main complaint. The food had so much sugar in it it tasted like candy. I had a raspberry spinach salad and a Thai chicken peanut salad sandwich. The salad dressing was so sweet all I could taste was sugar, no raspberry no acidic tangy note just sugar, on top of the sugar in the dried cranberries and the grapes this salad probably has a big calorie count that you might not expect. The Thai chicken salad sandwich was inedible do to the overly sweet chili sauce that that is just corn syrup with a bit of dried chilies in it that was soaking the bottom of the bun. I dumped the chicken salad off the bun and tried to eat that but it also had an overpowering sweetness and a bit of peanut. If the average person needs this much sugar to go on top of something "healthy" then we are never going to be healthy. Maybe there was just some one who measured the ingredients to the recipe wrong that day. I will give it one more try and ask more questions before I order.

I went there for there for the first time today and everything was great until I had to ask the cashier a few questions. She was not very helpful and her customer service skills were mediocre at best. I asked her about the signature salads, catering sizes, and unfortunately she was not very knowledgeable. I paid for my to go order and before I left, I double checked to make sure I had silverware and sure enough there was nothing. The cashier did not tell me that she did not give me plastic ware and that I had to get it myself on the other side of the red wall. I think that would have been something important to let me know about since I had no idea I had to get my own plastic ware for a to go order. Get it together Zupas, good food only goes so far. I am a great fan of customer service and great food. There is to much competition in the food industry for your company not to be at there best. Thank you.

Ive been a loyal Zupas customer since youve opened this location on Camelback but I am starting to question the restaurant all together. Ive noticed portion sizes have been getting smaller and smaller. I ususally do take out and the take out containers you use are portioned weird so there isnt much room for the lettuce and salad part but more than enough room for the bread roll and strawberry. I would suggest that they would take out the bread and fruit and leave that room for more salad because lets face it... paying 10 bucks for a salad is a little pricey for a restaurant like this. It also seems like every time I come in, theres 8 to 10 people behind the counter and none of them are really doing anything. It seems like having this many people is actually working against you because it takes twice as long for each person to put one topping on my salad... just a suggestion.

I was sick as a dog. I had just moved into the neighborhood and was looking for some soup. After Googling soup I was ecstatic to see Cafe Zupas. I had heard good things of Cafe Zupas occasionally throughout the years but had never been. Once at the counter they ask if youre looking for a whole salad or the pick-two option with one of their amazing soups. Ive since returned and tried a few of their great salads but my first-time through I was all about their soups. Their Yucatan Chicken Tortilla and Chicken Enchilada Chili hit the spot. Both soups were very savory though, Im sure, high in sodium. In addition to their salads and soups they have some very unique and delicious desserts. Both the Chocolate Hazelnut Creme Brulee and Sinful 7 Chocolate Cake are incredible. Great compliments to the rest of their menu. Overall, I cant speak highly enough about their menu and service.
