I went to the drive thru and ask for 3 scoops of macaroni one scoop of rice with the mixed chichen plate and no vegetables. They gave me just a regular chicken plate when I checked. So I went inside and told them this is not what I ordered and then I told them what I ordered and they still gave me the wrong thing. They only gave me two scoops and why are they gave me two scoops of rice and two scoops of macaroni. I was just annoyed with having to wait for them so I just took it and left. What was so hard about 3 scoops of macaroni and one scoop of rice? If you did plan on getting the chicken katsu make sure that youre going to get it with some kind of sauce because its bland without anything, it doesnt even have salt pepper seasoning.

I stoped here because every single business that gets into this building has crumbled! GOoB (gone out of business) Which will not be long before this place foes as well. They put a bunch of cooked cabbage under your food to make it look like you are getting $10 of proteins on your plate. But in actuality the only reason I was satisfied after I finished (all but the half head of cabage) eating, was the huge portion of steamed rice they give you. When rice goes for what $1 even less for them they give so much out.. But the chicken was no where worth $9. I wish them well as a small business owner myself. I know what it takes to get a business started and even more on how to keep it thriving . This place has not learned that yet.

It was tasty. However I was charged for teriyaki chicken and instead just got the chicken breast which was 50 cents that I paid for and didnt get. My problem however was my salad items in my rice. I dont like almost getting done with my plate and enjoying my rice and find salad not near where the salad even was. But Id come here again and just not get the salad. Which make sure you insist on because the girl clearly didnt listen to me when I said what is on this plate and didnt mention the salad. Which hey I dont mind a nice salad but warm me that Ill be eating it and please keep it out of my rice. Update I am in my bathroom regretting this purchase!

Just tried this place, the food is good but its by no means great/impressive. The interior is clean and quiet, and my order was done in a reasonable amount of time. It was accurate and portioned well. I went during a slow time for business, so YMMV. For two people, it came to about $17.50 - which wasnt far off from a sit-down establishment. Overall its alright, and Ill keep it in my list of options, but it certainly wont be front and center.

A big "Mahalo" to the Onos crew today ( specifically Merilynne, Melissa, Courtney, Christian, Mr.Maui - didnt get his first name !) The food was even better than what we had in Oahu. Hey Mr.Sam- these people are worth their weight in gold, despite the challenges they faced first thing this morning. Its one thing to have employees do a job, its something altogether different when you capture the "Aloha".

Dont know much about Hawaiian food but this place rocks the chicken is delightful and the beef is superb I had a meal and another one to go. I happened to pass trough here on my way to Tucson and It was so good I just had to have seconds, I liked it so much that on the way back from Tucson to North Phoenix I stopped here again, If and when Im on the area I will visit this restaurant again.

This place is amazing. I was greeted by what seemed to be the owner with a very friendly smile. He made many suggestions of what was good on the menu. I went with the traditional hawaaian BBQ chicken and put teriyaki sauce on it. My only complaint is that the chicken was a little bit fatty. But the flavor is phenomenal. I would definitely come back. You have to try it out

A novelty experience. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. However, the menu options are very limited. The "combos" dont include a drink, which is very confusing. Also, the food is VERY overpriced for the quality and amount that you get. Its a nice place to try a fusion food and the staff is great, but wouldnt return regularly.

Good food, nice vibe... Price is decent, but Id give a full 5 stars if the flavor could match a little more closely to home with the kalua pork & musubi. Stopped here for those two things specifically, and was a little on the disappointed side. On to the next Hawaiian place in Arizona that might help me go back home in my mouth. LOL.

Check your order before you LEAVE. Young kids running the grill area so its not consistent with portions or correctness. I have gone back for missing items, and to get more food when i received a "half portion" number 1 by mistske. Even though there is no half portion for the Number.. Closer than the Avondale location so Im screwed.

Over all the place has no Hawaiian charm. None of the staff had a smile on their faces. I ordered the chicken combo. Possibly the worst choice I could make. The katsu Chicken was still drenched in oil. And, the BBQ Chicken was some of the worst I have tasted. Left most of the plate untouched. Not coming back.

This place has terrific food and excellent service. The young lady working the register was fantastic. We were first time customers and she walked us through the menu and gave us her recommendations. It was delicious! Huge portion sizes! Will definitely be back!

Went through the drive thru and they wont let you order the pork due to the time it takes to make it. However we waited in the drive thru line for over 8 mins. And when we said well go inside to get it they said they couldnt put the order in. Disappointed.

Just had Ono after going two years of missing it since moving from Ca to Az. It is still as delicious as always. Nice staff, clean place, great rope lights. Glad I didnt move out of the neighborhood, will continue to eat there any chance I get.

They have a drive thru window!! I was craving Onos and in L.A. there are no drive thru near me so this was awesome!!! As expected the food was delicious and the price is that bad for what you get. I will definitely be back.

Pull pork with teriyaki sauce is on point...I just wish they would play better island music in there like a lil bit of, J Boog and S.O.N.S of monessa...u know some island vibe reggae music!!!

The food was very good and the atmosphere was pretty cool except that it had a little bit of a sterile feel to it for being a Hawaiian barbecue joint. Still a great place to go though!
