Well .... I dont know how to say this.. cause I am just blown away. As some of you know I have been frequenting the Road Runner Bar and Grill in New River Az lately. I really have enjoyed the food and atmosphere, along with bringing my dog Cloey. But... tonight just blew my mind! As I arrived at the Road Runner the place was packed and the parking lot was full. I new they had parking for bikes in the back and parked my car in a very inconspicuous out of the way place back by the bikes where I new it would not interfere with anything or one. Had a very nice time for 5-6 hrs. Then out of the blue the owner or so he said he was come up and starts complaining about the car and asking whos it was. I said right up front that it was mine and explained how it got there being the lot was full and that I did not realize it would be that much of a problem, apologized and said I would never do that again. He when on to say how disrespectful I was and that he owned a lot across the street where there was plenty of parking. Again I said I was sorry, thank you for letting me know about the parking because I was unaware of it and I really meant no disrespect. He then approached me in a threatening manner and insisted that I did mean to disrespect him and acted like he was going to physically harm me. I said really sir I meant no disrespect and I am sorry for the trouble. Again he insisted I did mean to disrespect him because I was on his property and became more threatening telling me he was going to slash my tires! Amazed, I just said look Im not here to have any trouble I will leave and stay away. And he said well if thats how you feel how about I just stick you now and finish it. I was like dude I will leave right now, as I stood up to leave I extended my hand and said I was sorry again. He refused to shake my hand and again threatened to stick not only me but my dog too who is very friendly with people, and made many many friends that night. So sad such a simple problem had to get so out of hand when I really liked the place. But I think the owner, if thats who he really is, has a really bad drinking and or anger management problem. And know The legal war is on! If he thinks he has a right to treat a good loyal peaceful friendly customer that way. I think he can apologize to me in front of the police or I will spend big big bucks, making signs, banners, facebook ads, newspaper ads and picket right across the street from that place letting people know what happens when you park in the wrong place. I think he thinks hes got more money than me. And that gives him the right to be an ass. So its on, Ill keep you all posted. AND THATS MY RANT! SO ROAD RUNNER PATRONS BEWARE.. IF YOU PARK IN THE WRONG SPOT YOU MAY GET STUCK AT THE VERY LEAST GET YOUR TIRES LASHED!

I loved the food, heard about the new image of this place, it was true. Best food in New River or northern Arizona for that matter! Absolutely amazing fresh prepared and my steak was perfect. The Chef is making Roadrunner Restaurant Bar and Saloon her personally playground for a new spin on food at this place. Skeptic at first but I swear the dishes have a wild aroma of spices, ingredients and mouth watering feel to them. We love it. Keep it coming please!!!Love the rodeo, danced to the live music and drank all night. Spent less money than we normally do and had the best time. Go Roadrunner!!!

If youre a fan of greasy, old-fashioned burgers and fries, and need a fix, this is the place. I adore their Bacon Cheeseburger with Swiss; it satisfies my cravings for salt/grease/flavor in one go. I drop in whenever I can. ;-) The ambiance is not for those who would wipe off a seat before they sit down; the Roadrunner is definitely what can be nicely described as a bit "down at the heels," or even seedy. It has biker and cowboy (really!) engraved in its DNA. But its a fun place, LOUD, and the food is as described.

Ive been going to the Roadrunner for years. It is a restaurant/bar and is different at different times. You could bring your family and have a meal earlier in the day or evening. At night it is a bar. You could say it is a cowboy/biker bar, but I am more of the Anthem crowd and have always felt comfortable there. My best friend and I meet there on Fridays and always get the fish fry. It is good, simple food at a reasonable price. It has steadily improved over time without losing its character and suits its location.

My wife goes up here alot. Usually has a great time. But today she came home very upset due to a redheaded bartender. Dont know if the girl was jealous of my wife or having a bad day. But her conduct was completely unprofessional. She told my wife that she cost her, the bartender, a lot of money cause she was talking to people too much. My wife has brought many people to this place but now is unsure if she will ever be back. I know if we go that bartenders action cost her money as she will get no tip from me.

Weve been coming out here from time to time over the past four years. The new change in cooks or management has done a good thing for the place. The Saturday night buzz seems to be much less biker gang bar with crusty locals, and back to the 80s feel of the place with a lot more real cowboy dive bar feel. Nice to see the refreshing change! The food has also improved quite a bit. The burgers could stand a bit more seasoning, but the meat was fresh and tasty. The staff was great!!!

Good music luv the onion rings Pool tables darts boards jukebox poker live bands and karaoke and bull riding plenty to do with both indoor and patio deck and yard for dining with barbeques fish frys and a assotment of booths of jewelery leather and you name it. Pet friendly as long as they behave and stay on leash and in yard Bikers welcome parking in the back end of yard with their own private entrance from parking lot .

The sauce really makes the food because theres no excessive oils or fats in the protein or sides, so it would be on the bland side without it. The honey and spice sauce was a nice blend of sweet and spicy, and I was afraid the noodles would make the meal too filling but it was the perfect portion size. Overall the healthiest restaurant food Ive ever had, with great taste and friendly service.

For a country bar, Roadrunner Restaurant is truly one of a kind. Its not like a typical country bar in the city, which are designed to be relatively tame. You get to watch bull rides, line dance in front of a classy cover band, and enjoy a cold one with your meal. Its a bit out of the way, but I think the venue is worth a visit if youre into country music and the country lifestyle.
