Love this place - especially their outdoor patio. It is a great spot where you feel like youre in a zen garden... When youre really near a big street! The owners clearly spent considerable time, energy and money in decorating the whole place! Everywhere you look a thoughtful detail can be spotted. For the mindful amongst you, its a meditative experience to roam the premises with your eyes, finding visual treats amongst the leaves, tables and windows. As a not-coffee-snob-simpleton who prefers either an Americano or espresso free of sweeteners or creams, I enjoy the coffee here. I cant speak to drip coffee, lattes or other souped up espresso drinks, but they are available for those who enjoy some flavor and variety. As for the food, Ive had two sandwiches here and was pleased with both - the roast beast and turkey. Its nice that its only $1 to upgrade to a salad from chips! Finally, the staff is very friendly, and after only 3 visits recognize me. I find that welcoming atmosphere to be a huge plus if Im frequenting a locale!

I have been here a couple times and enjoyed it each time. I love that the drive thru has no intercom I think it makes it a more personal experience. The intercom does not increase the speed of your order it simply makes the experience more frustrating as they make it difficult to understand what is being said by both parties. I cannot count the number of times I have had to repeat an order because of poor quality comms. I stopped visiting drive thrus years ago until I found this place. The interior while small is fantastic and intimate. I have never had a bad item served and not been ignored or mistreated. If you are in such a rush that you cannot take a moment to say hello, face to face, with the person waiting on you then find a Starbucks that will allow you to experience being just another number in a never ending string of impersonal hurry up, pay and leave line of bad service and worse coffee. If however you like a personal and friendly experince then stop and smell the coffee here. You will not regret it.

I came here because I saw Toddy on the menu. It was good, but a little weak. A good value at $2.75 for a large and refills for the price of a small. The roast beef sandwich was better than the average cafe sandwich and the breakfast and dinner menus look good enough that I want to come back and try them. The ambiance is great. Good music, and they seem to manually skip the bad songs. Outside had lots of space/trees/shade/misters. On my second visit, there experience wasnt great. At four, they get waiters and start getting strict about who is using which table. While waiting for my wife, I started to order a second coffee and cookie while looking at the dinner menu when I was asked to move by the manager. They explained that the wait staff gets standard pay, so I was talking up valuable space.

Im a little confused about all the 5 star reviews. Ive been in a few times and used the drive thru a few others. Coffee is good, a little better than sbux. The idea is great, the feel is great. The execution... leaves something to be desired. I dont even get why they have the drive thru. They dont have a speaker to give your order. So basically you have to pull up to the window to get your order in. This creates huge problems if there are a few cars in front of you. Ive spent over 20 minutes in this drive thru or waiting off to the side while they prepare the food or drink. The delay wouldnt be an issue if I were inside relaxing, but if speed isnt going to be a priority, then just skip the drive thru all together. Long story short, visit this place over sbux as long as time isnt an issue.

I love Thu Br! I consistently seek out new little independent coffee shops to try. And Thu Br is definitely one of a kind and a diamond in the rough. From what I gathered, all the drinks here are made in house and organic. Which is super for those that care but Im definitely more concerned with flavor and all the drinks are to amazing. I usually pick up a large nitro cold brew and my mouth waters when I see it being poured in anticipation of that first sip. The pastries there are also absolutely delicious and pretty unique and diverse flavors. They have vegan options which are always delicious. The apple cinnamon vegan muffins are soooo good and Im hardly ever a fan of anything apple. And every time theres turmeric bread I have to buy like a half dozen pieces!

The drinks- dirty chai, regular chai and Nutella mocha latte- were delicious. No complaints there. However, the service lacked in every department. As we walked through the door, a not-so-friendly face welcomed us with a disdainful remark, "Youre just going to get coffee, right?" During our 10-minute wait, the two people behind the counter were extremely unfriendly. Not sure they looked at us more than twice: once to take our order, the second to hand it to us through a window, as we were forced to stand outside. The traditional macchiatto I ordered was never given to me. And after all that, I didnt want it anyway.

Great coffee I can say. Here is why the 1 star. Ive been here 3 times to get coffee. All 3 times Im barely acknowledged, the people that work here seem unhappy or indifferent to customers, and the service is just disorganized and horrible. Everyone seems to be doing something else rather than acknowledging the fact that youve been waiting there for 5 to 10 minutes. Thought it may just be the days I went in, but 3 strikes your done. I have not tried the food, but reluctant to even come back. Has better coffee then sb, but at least they smile and chat with you when you go in.

My wife and I stopped in here for lunch one day, and we were pleasantly surprised. It is the smallest, coolest, great food place that you can pack into a photo booth! No really I think this used to be a drive through photo developing shop. They have really made it cool, and I enjoyed the food and atmosphere. If I had a complaint, and I do mean if, it would be the pricing... slightly steep for lunch. that being said, I cant wait to go back in the evening some time to check it out, if you are in the area you should stop in.

I tried $33 coase dinner. It was absolute joke. Start with small 3 bacon wrap golgonzora cheese with parsley. No bread. Main was small 3 oyster with salty mushed potato cover the top of oyster i believe. A few baby leaf was beat up badly. Doesnt even taste like oyster. No bread. Material cost may be 1 dalla. And desert. I was still hungry and very disappointed. Dont do this dinner. It was just fooling people thats what it was. They think no one will have balls to say things or people dont even know the good food.

Hipster hideaway.. dont go after 4pm. Was told that regular drinks were still served at night, I then waited for 5 minutes as the night manager rang up receipts. After patiently waiting, I was told that all their drinks only come in one size during evening hours. The attitude was thick, but given with a great smile. I walked back to my loaded family van empty handed. Guess this cafe may be too swank for the blue collar neighborhood it sits in during evening hours...
