Very authentic. I went to this restaurant because a yelp review described it something like "meal tasted like a little Mexican grandmother cooked the food" ... and this review held to be very accurate. The food is far from the Tex-Mex from a can youd get at a chain, and the owner served our food with a pleasant demeanor. He took the time to translate the menu as neither of us had heard of many of the items, and made excellent suggestions based on what we enjoyed eating in the past. This restaurant is a perfect example of what a family-owned establishment should strive to be, and I sincerely hope they remain around forever so that I can take everyone I know here.

The food here is amazing. Definitely authentic. They give generous portions depending on what you get . My favorite dish is the pork in red sauce with cactus, it comes with rice , beans, HOME MADE CORN TORTILLAS, and soup on the side. Everything on the menu is a must try. Customer service is always excellent, this place has been recognized by "the best of Phoenix" a few times too. You have to stop by!

This place is amazing. The food is great amd super delicious. I went there and there is so much food that was new to me. I tried something that I have heard about before enchiladas in green suace and they were amazing. I will definatly be going back and trying something new because there is so much new food to me and it all looks amazing.

1st we travel to central Mexico several times a year. This restaurant serves authentic and very tasty Mexican food. Worth the drive. Best "mole" in the Phoenix area. Owner is from Pueblo, MX. Uses his family recipes.

This is THE ONLY PLACE for 100% authentic central Mexican (Huauchinango) cuisine and antojitos in Arizona. You will not be disappointed. Eating here is like a culinary journey to northern Puebla.
