My first time at this location. I ordered the Hawaiian BBQ mix. The BBQ beef and kalbi short ribs were not good. I am Hawaiian. Ive been to many Hawaiian food locations, Im a beef person, usually the only thing Im disappointed about is the small portion. The portion was fine but not the beef. I have never disliked any beef before. The beef was definitely not marinated and it didnt even taste like beef. Doesnt taste like chicken, and not even like lamb - I dont like lamb but I would have preferred that taste. The kalbi is so thin, but it was all red inside. How does that happen? Im worried that Im going to get sick because I swallowed it. And when I bit into a few pieces of meat it had that sand crunch, where you might get dirt into food and it crunches. I actually had to stop eating the beef and thats NEVER happened before. The chicken was decent - it had been marinated. The rice was perfectly cooked and the mac salad was okay. I hope this was just a day that it was messed up and hopefully usually the beef is better. But I wont go back because messing up beef, for me, is unforgivable.

this place is pretty much a knock off of L&LBBQ which is a big chain in hawaii. there are a few in az. but onos food is just not what u get in hawaii. im from the islands and have tried all the hawaiian restaurants here in az. most are owned by asians not from the islands. there is no real ethnic taste to anything on the menu. for some decent hawaiian food try Aloha kitchen on alma school. better quality, local people and good grinds. Check out hawaiian recipes from "local" websites on google. Try make your own and see the difference.. Aloha, BenE

Ive been coming to this location since it open. When the original owner ran the restaurant. Back than it was fabulous. Currently....NOT at all. Dirty tables, chairs, please dont look up, and ripped up benches. If thats what we see as a customer up front, whats in the back. I also noticed cash register girls ringing up food and then going back and helping the cooks cook food without washing hands. GROSS!!!!! I stopped eating after I saw that.

I dont usually post reviews but this is ridiculous. I called in an order and they said about 20 minutes. I got there 20 minutes later and my food was not done which is fine. What upset me was waiting another 20 minutes at the restaurant and come to find out that my food has been sitting on the counter. So not only did I have to wait but now my food is cold and they didnt even bother to offer me anything except for..."Mahalo". Never going back!

This place is a disgrace to Hawaiian food. Not only that but the chairs are always dirty and so are the tables. The managers Ron and Johan are terrible people. Also I was told by a former employee that there is a Cockroach infestation underneath the counters and underneath the counters where the food is prepared and that sometimes they reuse food from the night before and use at the end of the next night. Seriously terrible place

The food is very good but this location is horrible with phone orders. I like to phone ahead and multiple times I tried I had issues. One time the phone would never be picked up. The next I get an order started and get hung up on. Next time they pick up the phone but they dont say the name of the business. Answering "hello" does not let me know if I am calling a business. Phone service needs major improvement

I agree L&L is better, especially their macaroni salad but this place is much closer to my house and is pretty good. Aloha kitchen is pretty good too but once again not close to me. Once we ordered the teriyaki chicken which was good but the Hawiian BBQ is better. Staff have always been polite to me, but the last time I was there 1 girl seemed to have something better to do than work.

Great food! Greeted us immediatly when we walked through the door! I would rate 5 stars if they had a cleaner restaurant. Floor was filthy, dust and cob webs on ceiling and old dirty furniture. If this is what you allow your customers to see, how filthy is the kitchen and back of the place we cant see? I wont be back untill this is fixed...

It was good food before and after, but I wasnt to thrilled with the employees enthusiasm, and the fact they still give you take out boxes even if your dinning in. Seems wasteful, they could use the funds for all those boxes and use it for something to better the restaurant.

The food is good but the girl manager that took our order was so rude.. few months ago when I asked if I can just buy the meat she said no in a rude way and today while me and my girlfriend wanted to change our order she gave us a bad look! What kind of service is that?

Maybe not the most authentic, but best Hawaiian food around. Anyone whos been to Hawaii knows the struggle of satisfying a craving for a good plate lunch. Ono is the closest you can get here and best of all its delicious. This place is great!

Girl behind the counter wouldnt give me one scoop macaroni salad instead of two scoops of rice. Seriously? Whats the big deal? Guess my business isnt that important. L&L is better. Ill have to try Aloha Kitchen soon too.

We were the 1st customers of the day and it was so dirty! Food all over the floor and seats. An added bonus was a giant spider web next to the video camera and thick dust chunks on the ceiling fans. Gross!

Nice Hawaii joint for me to get some aloha quick fix food. I usually order the Hawaiian BBQ and sometimes add 1-2 orders of Spam musubi. Service is good and you can pack your own sauces at the counter.

Really good chicken, the beef was okay, the macaroni salad was good and so was the rice. They did not have ice for drinks though and The chairs were dirty to the touch.

The music was Hawaiian. Their BBQ chicken is Teriyaki chicken! No BBQ at all! No pineapple, no pork. Their macaroni just has mayonaise on it. Tastes terrible!
