Im not sure this restaraunt deserves 2 stars, but I think that with some improvements I could see them getting to a 3 or 4 rating. Upon arriving we were given a 25 minute wait time. Once we were seated, the manager in the bar area immediately came over to ask if we had been helped yet (which right then, I knew our experience would be mediocre at best), we explained that we hadnt and he took our drink order. The server came by with the drinks pretty quick however the tea tasted horrible so we asked for another drink. He took our order of one appetizer and two entres and the new drink order. We received our food within minutes of that however NO appetizer and NO drink. We asked the server about the appetizer and my Wifes drink and of course it had slipped his mind. My wife got her drink finally and started to eat and then quickly realized that her burger (gringo) was very sloppy. The bun was mush and soggy... :( We asked a different server (because ours was not around or not paying attention) for a new order. Their excuse was that the salsa on the burger makes the bun moist. We ordered the "salsa" on the side this time... The new order came out and judging by the salsa, we could see why the bun would be a sloppy wet mess. The salsa was essentially water with some slices of tomatos. The ketchup was cheap runny dollar general quality and the fish and chips was a complete joke. I would possibly eat here for lunch but never again as a dinner date. I hope your experience is better than ours. Sincerely, Jerry C.

Ordered a glass of Coppola Cabernet Savignon and server brought me either a Moscato or a White Zin...which is chilled of course. I immediately questioned it but she insisted it was Cab (at $4 more per glass). I said something like Cabs are Red and NOT chilled. She replied, "We chill ALL our wine." Lol... Next time she appeared I asked her to bring me the bottle that my wine was poured from...or the bartender. She returned with a glass of Red, I assume it was what I ordered… and an excuse about having to go out "to the delivery truck" for this wine.... something like that. Im not sure if she provided that info because the Cab was NOT chilled (as it should not be chilled) or what???????? The bartender should have known the difference...why did she pour the wrong wine? My husband liked the French Dip Sandwich very much. He also liked the chili fries he ordered...I thought the chili tasted more like tomato sauce than chili. I ordered the BBQ chicken salad. I asked server if it was chopped salad. She said yes but it was not. It was okay though. To sum it up...server… quite uninformed, and I guess makes stuff up if she doesn’t know. Maybe it is working for her. Service was okay...she was more attentive after I questioned her about the wine when returning from the restroom.

The Haymaker has been our "go to" place for breakfast for over a year -- we have gone here two to three times a week -- not any more. Todays visit was the last straw and will be our last time here. Something has happened in the last month. Orders are WRONG, service is terrible. We waited for a server for 15 minutes this am -- thats AFTER getting seated. She took our orders; they came up all crossed up and wrong; she also failed to inform us that they do NOT serve hashbrowns after 11:30 am when we ordered them, so our order came with OBrien potatoes -- which we both dislike. Had she informed us of that in advance, we would have ordered something else. Food in the past couple of weeks has been cold when delivered to the table and tastes like it has been sitting for awhile before being dished up. Theres nothing worse than cold eggs and cold hashbrowns. So, while we have tremendously enjoyed this restaurant in the past, it is now in our past. I just hope that management figures out what is going wrong before they lose all their customers.

Went the today and walked out due to.there meeting in a room and trying to sit everyone in another room . You have a room that you can hold meetings in why is it you dont do that? On top of that I was in there mon went to that bathroom and the bathroom was nasty I told the older man that takes forever to seat you that the bathroom was pretty bad that I couldnt even go to the bathroom and iam not sure if they did clean it or just went in and did a half job case when I was leave I went in to go after holding off on going in there it was like a half job of cleaning it so I just waited and left . Iam not one to complain about things but after finding this place and liking it then to be where its at now iam not sure if I want to keep going here ..please stop holding meeting in the other part put them in the very back where you can hold a meeting and still seat people who dont want to be over crowded. When someone says the bathroom needs help send someone in to help it not just half way of helping it ..

Our experience was not what I hoped it would be. We decided to give this place another change, the first time we went, it took a very long time to get our food. We figured it was just a fluke and decided to try it again. Second time, just as long to wait when the place was not even busy. We ordered our food, my husband and split our meal (California Omelet & a full stack of pancakes and 2 coffees). For 2 coffees, it is $5.58, almost $6!!!! Youd think youd have limitless refills.. NO. The waitress didnt ask us to refill during our entire visit. Then we get the bill and find that we are being charged extra for our meal, she revises the bill and it still comes back being charged the same, just charged differently. At this point I am so irritated I dont ask her again about it because she really didnt seem to care the first time so it was pointless. Needless to say, the food wasnt good enough to come back and the service was HORRIBLE. We will not be coming back and are very disappointed.

Terrible experience. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon. A few people eating at tables in bar area. Young man was sitting playing on his phone and after we stood there said I will go get someone for you. Finally a young lady came up ad greeted us and seated us. Once seated in an open area, we were the only people in the area Next to the bar, we waited for over 20 minutes. No one helped us. Servers walked around helping the tables in the bar area but didnt even acknowledge us. We left and on the way out saw the same young lady and your man at the front entrance plating on their phones. We let them know the terrible experience we had and thanked them for getting someone to help us. Yes sarcastically . This is one place I will never go again. I had heard great things about it from friends but will be sure and let those people know the experience we had. Hopefully they get some help that actually wants to work.
