So i usually love kimmys .. they are great ... Im an African American lesbian and I have lived across the street for over a year and was recommended here by a different apartment complex that I didnt even choose ... every time I have come here I have been so happy ... I came here today was asked while I was sitting down with 2 African American friends of mine who are also lesbians... she carded us sitting not even wanting drinks we sat at a table because we wanted philly cheese steak sandwiches ...Bridgette ? Im not sure who she is... but when I came here a week ago with my friend the owners parents were so polite and sweet , asked us to come on the porch... we spoke they are polite, took Tonys clientel... I will never in my life come back here because of Bridgette and I will make sure none of my LGBT or African American friends never come here ... the family was polite ... but I know better

I went last night for the second time. My brother in laws band was playing there again and I have to say that the wait staff is superb and the food is good. The first time I was there in November, I ordered a burger, and for a bar it was very flavorful. Last night I had chicken sliders and they were hot and juicy. sometimes at bars they are dry. Thank You Kimmyz for a fun and exciting night. I would recommend this wonderful place to any one.

I was sitting alone and my waitress made me feel very welcome & safe while I was waiting for my friends to show up. Its everything youd expect from a small neighborhood bar. I ordered their Friday Fish Fry & it was very good & generous portions.... the band that night was having a hard time with their equipment, but after it was fixed the floor got packed! all in all a good time. :)

The wonderful staff sets the stage for the warm upbeat atmosphere. Good food and great selection of musicians performing and other activities to partake in every evening, Monday-Saturday Since these are local bands you never know who will be invited to join in on a song or a set. With Football starting, the games can be seen on multiple flat screens. I consider it my local bar.

I havent been here in years. I was pleasantly surprised at the esthetic improvements. Had the burger special and it was the best burger I have had in over a year. Brought one home for the roommate and he was equally impressed by it. He woke up today saying he couldnt stop thinking about it

The food is surprisingly good. They keep the drinks flowing, even when its packed. Excellent service. This will become a weekly spot for sure. Months later, and it still rocks. Theresa kicks ass. She loves her job. Always remembers our drink orders, runs around like she owns the place.

This place rocks! Being the lighting guy for the band Sylence..They were so accommodating. .especially Kim the owner! We are there again this Friday and going for the same experience as we rock that place! The food is great. .The drinks are flowing and the staff is to notch!

Recently came across Kimmyz and have eaten there as well. The workers there are fantastic...and friendly...along with great service. The people who gather there are a great and friendly. Always a fun time.....and the music there is the best in the west valley.

Overall I was happy with this joint. It is bar food but it is definitely better than the average bar. Came here to enjoy a World Series game with my boyfriend and it was busy. Its an active spot with pretty late (midnight) hours for a weekday. Ill be back.

Kimmyz is a nice neighborhood bar with great waitresses. We go with our friends once a week and the food is fantastic! We have never had anything bad there. We will continue to go there. You should try the steak dinner - very good and priced right.

I have been going to Kimmyz for a few years now. It is the best bar I have been to in years. Waitress staff and bartender are excellent and personable. Never had bad food or service there. I choose this bar over any other bar in town.

On a Friday or Saturday night I can be seen visiting this location. They have the best live bands on the west side of Phoenix and the crowd is a nice mix of age ranges. The service is fantastic.. go there and visit with Greg the bartender!

Been visiting this bar for the last three nights great food but very poor service if you are not a regular at the bar the waitress dont appear to care about you one was more interested in giving hugs to the locals than servicing drinks.

Cool bar. Awesome Bartender. In town from Denver and we have been twice. Considering a third visit before we leave if time allows but will definitely go back anytime I am in Phoenix. Reasonably priced drinks and a decent crowd.

Great place....fun time. Good bands. Food pretty good, but be prepared to wait for drinks on a Saturday night. Always packed so I recommend ordering a couple of drinks at a time.
