I have tried this place three times with coworkers for lunch (have also tried the Scottsdale location and I cannot give it more than 2 stars. I hav a difficult time understanding all of the good reviews here. First of all, as another reviewer stated, lunch service at this location is extremely slow and you are almost treated like you are a "bother." The pizza itself...not much better. It could be that I grew up with Detroit-style pizza, but I do love some thin pizzas, judy not Pomo. The crust is TOO chewy, and I hate the soggy middle. I was told that this was their trademark. To me, it tastes as if it is either not cooked all the way through, or someone dumped a glass of water in the middle once it came out of the oven. Either way, its not good. The pizza is also bland and lacks any seasoning. I have tried both white and red sauces and regular and gluten-free and nothing tasted tood to me. Oggis (about two miles down the road) is about 1/3 of the price at lunch and much better for pizza. Lunch at Pomo runs around $20 with tip...for subpar pizza and a glass of iced tea. The only reason I award Pomo two stars vs. one star is that they do have a good variety of pizza on the menu...but it is all quite bland. I did also try a salad once...I think it was like a Greek salad with chicken or something similar. Very little chicken, and bland once again. The next time my work colleagues decide to eat here for lunch, Ill buy something from our cafeteria if I didnt bring my own that day!

Im sitting in this restaurant as I type this. Do NOT COME HERE EXPECTING THE SAME POMO LEVEL SERVICE. Im telling you now, dont believe a review over a month old. My wife walked into this place to meet me for Dinner after work. She waited at the front (where there used to be a hostess). She stood there alone for 10 minutes while staff walked past, including the manager, without so much as a hello. Finally, not knowing if they changed so much from Pomo ,she politely asked if she should seat herself. She was shown a table just as I walked in. I walked in, found her, and sat-excited to get my favorite gluten free white pizza. She loves the Buffala Versace, or whats now called the As we sat, another couple walked in and was seated immediately, and received service. We sat there for 10 minutes watching others get service while we were ignored. Again, we had to ask to get service. By this point Im getting annoyed. I just came off a 12 hour shift, and I expect more from a place where I have happily paid over $50 for two small pizzas for my wife and I. As the people who arrived well after we did get their food, we finally get our drinks. Woo-hoo. I finally get to order and they are out of gluten free crust. They said their "supplier" hadnt brought it. -You dont make the crust on your $20 9" pizza? Its not made fresh? What the hell am I paying for?LOL IN SHORT, THE SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE, food was mediocre, AND its incredibly overpriced. Try Sauce, Pomo,Twisted, or Humble Pie.

This place is great! The pizza is very authentic (not the super thick americanized version), the restaurant itself was fun, modern vibe but classy enough for a date. The service was impressive- at the end of our meal the owner came by to ask how everything was. We chatted with him for a minute and when he heard I was a Midwestern student he took our tab to re-run with the student discount. Nice to see people going out of their way to make our night even better- two thumbs up from us Bottega!!

I hate to even give it one star as we were never served. We went in for lunch at about 12:!5 and were seated right away as the place only had about 10 people in it. After sitting for about 15 minutes or so - we got up and left. No one seems to much care there. We do not plan to ever return.

We have been here for dinner and happy hour and really enjoyed both. It now has a nice selection of pastas as well as the excellent pizza. Happy hour has a nice selection of small plates and they have specials such as lamb chops every evening. The service is very good as well.

Wow Bottega Pizzeria gets it right. This space at the Citadel has been 2 or 3 things... with mixed results... Perfect balance and their evening pizzas are 12 to 16 dollars and worth every single penny. HIghly recommended. Competent and friendly staff top off delicious desserts.

Bottega is our first choice for business and staff lunches! Great food. Wonderful staff! If you are gluten sensitive like Dr. Melanie, you may be able to handle their traditional pizza. But if you are gluten "intolerant" their gluten free crust is delizioso!!

Service was slow for breakfast from greeting to getting my first cup of coffee. It was not busy just slow for breakfast... not sure why? Breakfast was good when it came just took a while.

Nice place for a good pizza. We enjoyed an appetizer of burrata cheese platter that was delicious. We then shared a pizza which was good, but nothing like a New York pizza

Great food! If you dont know Italian vocabulary though, you might want to have Google translate handy to help you navigate the ingredients of your food.

First time eating here. Food was excellent. Service was even better. Depending on your pocket book it is a bit pricey but well definitely be back.
