When I go to a new place, I order all of my usuals to see if the food is any good. I spent a little more money than I wanted to because I wanted to see if I would ever come back or not. With all the money my wife and I spent - We were not disappointed. The place was clean and there was tons of people. They keep the place packed and you can tell everyone there is happy. My wifes miso soup came out first - definitely the best anywhere. Kabuki Tempi I would say second. Then the Tuna Poke with 7 Heat rating came out - What a monster Salad. By the other reviewers images I expected a 1/4 of the size we received. This was awesome awesome! I think next time I will go with a 4 Heat rating even thought I could have handled the 10. I just like to focus more on the flavor of the tuna over the heat. My wifes Chicken Teriyaki came out - all white meat with a great sauce. The salad and salad dressing were top quality as well. My Spicy Tuna came out - Kabuki Tempi has always been the best and I think still is, but nothing has been a close second. This place was a close second. My Dragon Roll - Higher quality than any other dragon roll I ever had. It was awesome. I think next time I will try the caterpillar roll because I like more avocado. I think this place may now be my favorite place after going just one time. I think it is the Tuna Poke that puts this place over the top. Try it, you wont be disappointed.

This sushi is a highly rated restaurant in our local community. We have been to many other sushi restaurants in the area and Termari was one we had not tried after many years in the area. The rating was high and we were optimistic the sushi would be fantastic. We have been eating sushi for 25 years and know good sushi when we eat it. The flavors, quality, and freshness were far below other sushi restaurants in the area and the restaurant did not feel clean. The rice seemed old, the fish was marginal, and the calamari was not tender. One roll had a strange smell and we tried one piece of the roll and did not finish it as the roll was not editable. I wish I could get my money back, because it was really poor sushi. Service was friendly and that was the best part of the meal however, not worth the price we paid for our dinner. The atmosphere is cramped and you can hear the conversations of those around you. It is not for anyone who wants to go out and have a nice conversation without everyone else listening to you or hearing what those around you are talking about since they are a foot away. . I wanted to start the review with EWWW and decided against it, I wont go back and will tell others to go to other sushi restaurants.

My wife and I have been looking for a great local sushi place since we moved to town, and we finally found it. This was without a doubt some of the best sushi Ive ever had, and also happened to be one of the best experiences Ive had in a restaurant, period. -The staff were all super friendly -The sushi chefs were happy to chat with all of the customers while they turned out rolls at record speed -My glass was never empty for more than about 60 seconds (sounds silly, but this is actually a big deal for me in a restaurant) -They were happy to make minor changes to menu items to suit our tastes -We got a small scoop of ice cream with a fortune cookie in it along with the check (again a small thing, but made a big impression), and the staff were very happy to help split the check Ive tried no less than half a dozen sushi places in the East Valley, and this one is the best Ive tried without a doubt. Prices are moderate ($5 - $13 for a roll depending on how fancy it is) but reasonable. All in all 10/10 and I couldnt recommend it more. We will be back soon! PS: Get the Primo roll. We ordered it as our first roll and enjoyed it so much we had to get another before we could leave.

Just a little restaraunt and is owner operated. Reminds me of cheers because he has so many regulars that you get to know one another. The man is "Saki" and he is the best sushi chef in the US. I love sushi and have had sushi all over the US, nobody does it like Saki. His fish is as fresh as it gets for AZ and has the most amazing rolls. He loads the rolls with a ton of fish and flavors that make you wanting more. Very original, he makes all his own custom rolls. My favorites are Primo, Hawaii 5-0, Pretty in Pink, Green Apple, Sumo, Tucson, Sakura, Hot and Saucy to name a few... Try it out, you want be disappointed. Also do not forget to start with some Tuna Poke, absolute Killer!!! Sit at the bar, Saki is an awesome guy to talk to as well. He has a great sense of humor. The only downfall of this place is that you will never be satisfied with sushi anywhere else. Its like going from Outback to Maestros bone in filet... Outback just isnt the same...

Sushi is easily my favorite food. I have been fortunate to eat sushi at many restaurants throughout the valley as well as the United States including San Francisco and Manhattan. Temari is overwhelmingly the best I have had. Saki, the owner, is careful about only using the freshest ingredients, and if you order standard rolls it is very apparent. But to have the best taste experience, order the special rolls. Saki combines ingredients in the special rolls in sublime ways. Even if its not normally your thing, I recommend you sit at the bar. Saki and Danny will ask you what type of food you like, what type of tastes you like, how spicy you like your food, etc. Then, if you wish, they can prepare you rolls based on your preferences. (Theyre also a lot of fun to talk to.) It is food that will amaze you as you eat it and the memories of the taste and experience will make you happy long after you have left.

I love Temaris atmosphere and I love ordering from family owned hole in the wall places like this. and the sushi rolls are varied and delicious, however they lack sometimes in service, we didnt get enough menus for the table, first time I had this issue 2 menus for a table of 6, and we asked for another order sheet so they would make sure the order was split, the waitress refused and just told us to write it out ourselves on the back, very inconsistent and inconvenient, we were a little shocked, my husband and I go all the time and have never had this issue before, but it was a little embarrassing as we had out of town guests that we had recommended this place to. I gave it 3 /5 stars as we usually get great service, but if this was my first time going, I may have not gone back because this last experience was not very good. ( also the tempura appetizers was very bad compared to normal )
