Oh how the mighty have fallen. Pei Wei, why... just why? Why did you stop Japanese Chili Ramen? What was wrong with Blazin Noodles? The imposters that you brought back this week are - well, so weak. Why did you abandon the hallmark of noodle bowls, The Dan Dan Noodle Bowl? It was like an old friend, but now Dan Dan too has passed on... I remember when your napkins were at such a high quality almost linen level of perfection. When there was an empty plate at each table for you to set your serving spoon. When the water cup wasnt a throwaway paper embarrassment. When your prices were so competitive that my entire office staff had no reasonable choice other than to lunch at Pei Wei at least once a week. We figured that we each spent about $500 a year per person at our Pei Wei. But no longer. Now we enjoy local Asian joints that do it better...that do it how Pei Wei used to do it. Edit: Apparently some Pei Weis will make you a Dan Dan Noodle Bowl. Its on a "secret" menu.

I used to love coming to this restaurant, but it has seen better days! Over the past 3 years, its undergone cost control measures, which means the business is struggling! The portion sizes got smaller (for the same $$), and the protein vs carb ratio increased (more rice, less meat). The servers and cooks have also declined, as I observed a cook using a dirty wok and a server wearing a dirty white shirt (which was unbuttoned too far). The floors were also unusually sticky everywhere, not just near the condiment/soda fountain area. I reported these issues to not just the restaurant manager, but to a regional representative via email following an online survey. Until this location cleans up its issues, I will not be returning.

Ordered 5 items: Pad Thai, sweet and sour chicken, 2 spicy tuna rolls and a kids sesame. Unbelievably, flavorless. The tuna rolls were the size of a quarter, priced at a dollar each, aged clearly, the rice was crunchy, stiff and dry. The Pad Thai was super size (twice the size of the other two dishes) and some how flavorless. Kids sesame looked the most appealing, but again the rice was the downside, not cooked fully and dry. Spent $50 and I wish I hadnt. Sorry peiwei, I wont be returning after that meal.

Stopped in just before closing and although I should have known better, I ordered a side of spicy tuna sushi to go. I started to munch on it while it was cold and the rice was completely dried out and hard. Oops, I guess they forgot to discard the noon ( the previous day )handmade rolls. Plus they put the cold sushi container on top of the piping hot rice bowl. Nice. Theres lots of eating choices, management needs to tighten up on the kids working there.

I really wish I could tell you how good the food was. Except we ordered 1:35 minutes ago and still dont have it. We were told 40 minutes for a pickup order, not a big deal, right? Except I have been here an additional 45 minutes since arriving and still dont have anything. Heres the kicker....there are 11 orders that have been sitting out on the table with no one being called or picked up. Just read one of the call in times, the order is almost 2 hours old.

1. Out of ice. 2. Tables were a mess. Had to clear our own space. 3. Serving sizes, for full orders, have been reduced, although prices rise. 4. Dan Dan Noodles, normally a spicy dish, was bland, watery and ... well, disappointing. I have been eating here since they opened years ago, through good times and bad. Ups and downs. I think I have had enough. Goodbye Pei Wei.

Stay away from the sushi. I got really bad food poisoning last night from it. I was so sick for hours and hours afterwards. I should have chose something else after I heard the guy say, "yeah, the rolls are already pre-made.. we just cut them after you order it." Never a good sign with raw food. Dont make the same mistake I made.

My wife and I stopped in here one afternoon for lunch for our first MOD Pizza experience. Certainly a different way of ordering a pizza - step up to a counter let them know what you want as they make it right there in front of you (almost Subway like) and one price for all the topping you would like....

I ordered Kung Pao and with rice noodles I didnt get that. Sunday at 1pm July 30 They did a redo only exchanging the spaghetti noodles for rice noodles My concern is those noodles tasted sour and old Then this morning my stomach isnt right So no I cant give a good rating

I called about an order that I had picked up from there, it was totally made wrong, had no extra vegetables as ordered and when I called the manager to tell him about it, he hung up. No problem, got the message wont ever go there again.

I love Pei Wei, I usually go to the one at Dana Park and have always been very happy with the food/service/cleanliness. However, this location was dirty, smelled bad and the food was mediocre. Ill stick with the one at Dana Park.

My family and I have dined in as well as used Door Dash for delivery. As usual it is much better when you eat at the restaurant but that being said it was fantastic delivered also. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

I just got food to go and after I ate half of it I had to go right to the toilet. I threw away the rest of my food. This is the last time Im going there. Chinese chefs would probably help a Chinese restaurant

Great customer service! Have had the manager come over and ask how or meals were, and give us complimentary appetizers on several occasions. Food is great, and location is great right off Gilbert.
