This is probably the only dinner Ive ever had which could really be called an adventure. My client took a group of us to the Yurt but I had no idea where we were going until the host told us to make sure we were dressed for snow and cold. The ride up the mountain was beautiful but cold. The view of the mountains and the snow covered trees was incredible. I highly recommend this experience but go to the bathroom before you leave. The "YURTinals" as basically heated outhouses that you dont really want to see unless you really have to go!

We rode in the cab where the smell of gas coming from the engine was unbearable and gave me a headache. The food was minimal in amount ( the kobe steak tasted good but was very little). We were not served the cheese, even though we did not snowshoe and we got to our table ahead of everybody else. There was so much delay in between servings of the food. By the time our food came to our table, the other tables were already done eating. Very poor service. I would not recommend this event to anyone and it was not worth the $125/person.

loved it. Its an experience for sure. Be aware the sleigh ride up and down is cold, seriously wear your winter snow pants and heavy coat, gloves, hat, and bring someone to be cozy with and you will have a great time. The staff clearly works hard to make this a great night. The view of Park City from the sleigh during christmas is one of a kind. its a great date night if you like a little adventure.

A most lovely evening. Exceptional dining experience! Unique and wonderful! Elegant and relaxing . A European feeling where you can comfortably relax between courses and enjoy the ambience and conversations without the feeling some is waiting for your table. It has decent food and it is up on the mountain so you can eat/drink during a ski break. I havent been there for the dinner, so I dont know how that is, but for lunch it has decent sausages, short rib, etc. It isnt mind-blowing food or anything for lunch, but it is a yurt on a mountain.

We had a great time on The Viking Yurt. The ride up and down the mountain was made very comfortable, despite how cold it was, and dinner was amazing. The service, food, and atmosphere made for a great experience.

Attended the Christmas dinner in 2013. Fantastic food prepared by a German chef. Great beef meat course! Great deserts as well! Very tasty sandwiches for lunch with really good ingredients.

You cant miss the place if you study my picture and keep it in mind as you ski by at 40mph. Fun place they have a church service to Odin on Sundays at 1pm!

Absolutely love this place! Best Grilled Cheese sandwich on the planet. Also, they may a killer Buffalo Brat and oh, the view is pretty good too :) !
