I was disappointed for the first time in what I ate there,vwhich was prime rib. Why does food have to be over spiced. Its ok to use the sources that are not on the table but please watch the salt The beef and the roasted potatoes had too much salt ... And I hope its kosher salt but it tasted like table salt. Not many chefs use it for cooking anyone. I use it for cleaning and to wash my chicken before cooking. You dont have to use much. Kosher salt is processed different. To me it taste sweeter. A quarter tsp is equal to a tsp of regular salt. Too much adobe or paprika on roasted potatoes. I like tasting my food. We have to remain health conscious please. I like night when turkey is served.

When it comes to eating Im a do-er... but I must say after 10 minutes just to order a drink, a buffet that only had about 5 entree options (and something they call Chicken Parmesan that the provided knife couldnt cut through) I figured Id try the lobster... that was it, I literally got up, nearly lost my stomach and left. I have never gotten up from a buffet so repulsed that I didnt honestly know if I wasnt going to lose my lunch. Keep in mind, Im 300 pounds and burn about 3500 calories a day. Honestly want to just go home, wish we hadnt already purchased our bingo cards.

December 2016 - Crab was horrible. Most legs had hardly nothing in them. Other people complained as well. $25 pp and the whole buffet was inferior. Golden Corral has a much bigger selection and the food is made right there. Casino food was tasteless and the crab must have come from China. WORST EVER CRAB.

$16 for a prime rib buffet (drink included). The prime rib was average, a bit too tough unless you add jus. Other entrees and salad bar were good but selection is limited. The brownie (dessert) had no flavor; a boxed Ghirardelli mix tastes better. Difficult to recommend.

When it comes right down to it - you cant beat the food service AND entertainment Fort McDowell Casino offers. After removing the fluff from the other casinos in our State, Fort McDowell wins with pricing, service and selection.

Love crab leg night on Wednesdays!!!! Im so sad its not offered as often as it used to be. But goodness gracious it is amazing. The service is great and eating as much as possible is always a challenge Im willing to rise to!
