Tried to get a job servering here. I had made 6 separate trips there. First one was an interview that went well was told to come in for a second interview. I did but the next manager was really unsocial made eye contact very little and barely asked interview questions. Then was told to call that weekend to speak set up interview with gm. Called left message as they were busy. Called again as they didnt call me back. Was set up with 3rd interview few days later. Came in gm wasnt there so interview again with manager who seemed not to care. Then came back 2 days later to do a "working interview" was there for almost 3 hours and got 12 dollars in free food. Wasnt happy about it. Me and my gf immediately got sick from the food. But i still came back for the interview with gm. Gm was nice unsure if they really needed me but told him even 1 day a week would work cuz i love to work at nypd. Got a call a few days later saying they wouldnt need me after all but id be top on the list. I honestly feel like they didnt know what they needed and didnt feel like they were being honest with me plus the food got me sick so i dont even wanna work or eat there anymore... Dissappointment

Worst Service ever! Walked in and waited 15 minutes to be seated then waited another 15 minutes for someone to come take our drink order. Never came back to take our order and we had to refill our own drinks. After another 10 minutes of waiting again. I finally asked a waiter if we can please put in our order. Her answer was where is your waiter? Meanwhile there were a couple that walk in the same time as we did was done eating and was waiting for their check. I was so mad because my 2 year old son was hungry and it was almost 9pm. NOT RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE!! The worst service I ever experience in my life. Best part was the Manager response was UM UM UM. Then she has the nerve to come out to our car to offer our cold pizza that sat on their counter top for 40 minutes.

This pizza was really not worth it. It was cheap and the crust tasted really nasty. Honestly.. I hate to say this but Dominos pizza was WAY WAY WAY WAY BETTER than this place. NYPD just needs to take a lesson from Venezias New York Style Pizzeria. The crust was like a mircowave Pizza crust.. The sauce was Prego and the cheese tasted like it had bits of plastic in it. Honestly. Skip this place... drive a few blocks and get real pizza at Venezias, Dont go here. NYPD Pizza is probably the worst pizza ive had.. in a long time. When Dominos and Pizza hut does better than a place like this... You know you have problems. At least at Dominos they have quality control At NYPD they just dont care... GROSS =(

Came hungry and ready to spend money and left hungry and upset. 20 minutes went by and we never saw our server (I think thats what she was?) again. Ended up just leaving. Im a server, so I understand how this stuff works and tend to still tip well for bad service if its because youre short staffed. You guys need serious help. I counted 7 people in button down black shirts bouncing around aimlessly. Are they servers? Bussers? Cooks? Whoever they are, they are costing you serious money. That place needed 3 competent servers at most at the capacity of the place at the time. Just an opinion, though. I like making money for good service as a server. Not sure why your employees dont feel this way. Its a damn shame.

Pizza is very good. Be careful what time you go, as they get very busy in the evenings especially on the weekends. If I want good pizza at a fair price, this is where I go. They have excellent cheese, and their red sauce is the best. Workers are friendly, but sometimes I think they need to bring in a few more on the weekends. Ive gotten in the habit of ordering for pick up, then giving them around 15 minutes longer than they tell me. Usually I get there, then within 10 minutes its coming out of the oven, and u take it home where the sodas or beer is cheaper. The pizza is really good.

Food over priced. Pizza slices suck. Love the garlic cheese knots and padinis. My granmda loves their sandwiches on foccia bread. I like the whole pizzas but the sauce is so bland. jimmy and joes is were to go for pizza but come here if you want a place to eat your pizza, nice atomosphere. Service sucks, they always do something wrong, lol. I think they are very immature but the managers try hard to make up for the mistakes, ill give them that. I need to try another nypd location, maybe if the service was better, the value would be better.

Meh. They used to have awesome pizza but lost my patronage a long time ago when the hiked the lunch price 3 different ways at the same time. (Increases the price of the lunch, removed the drink from the combo, and got rid of the local company discount). But I always loved their Brooklyn family pie. Stopped by today since I was in the area and realized that they replaced their high quality ingredients with lesser quality replacements. Probably will not come back again.

Sadly gone are the days of stopping in for a good quick slice of NYC style pizza. If you work close enough to come in for lunch then great, any other time and everyone is confused when a customer wants a slice of pizza. None are ready and only plain cheese is at all available. They will toss some toppings on and reheat but thats not really appetizing. The service is also horribly slow. This chain is no longer recognizable as a NYC style pizza shop.

Food is average, overpriced for the quality of the ingredients. We called for a pizza for delivery, which ended up being over an hour late. They gave us a voucher for a large pizza and a slice of cheesecake. The pizza we ordered was folded over on one side. Jimmy and Joes on McClintock and Ray runs circles around NYPD--the only reason we ever use NYPD in the first place is because theyre open later, and we work late hours.

I dont normally write bad reviews, but in this case I will. Stopped in for pizza and had to leave. I was there for 20 minutes and didnt even get to order pizza. This place is slow and service is not good. The people next to us waited forever for their bill as well. It looked like there were 8 servers....but still couldnt get food ordered? I cant tell who is a manager, busser, or server. What is going on here?

NYPD has consistently good pizza. Staff is friendly and courteous. Service is slow mostly because they dont make your food before you order it. Except for the express line, which is faster but has less selection. Weve tried other dishes here, and they were just ok. But the pizza is really good. Thats what we come for.
