This is probably our favorite pizza place, and its even close to our house! I cant say Im an expert on NY style pizza. But I do like the pies here. I also discovered I like the soups. They were a pleasant surprise. In the past we havent been impressed with their pasta dishes, so we dont order those anymore. We stick with the pizza. The only one I like better (at least so far) is at Buca, and thats much further from home. Well, there was this little place in Firenze, but thats REALLY far. The crust at NYPD is good, the sauce is very good, and the toppings seem fresh. Well keep coming here to fill our pizza needs.

Sadly disappointed. I first tried NYPD in north Scottsdale and it was great!! I was so pleased to find that there was also a location close to home. However, my experience at the Gilbert location was not the same. The cheese on the pizza was not balance and smooth, it was a bit bitter. There was hardly any sauce on the pizza and what was there was really sweet. The crust was bland and had no flavor. I also decided to try the fried zucchini. The zucchini had too much batter which was also tasteless. I ended up peeling off all of the breading and just eating the zucchini. I will not return to this location.

Went there twice for take out and felt invisible and forgotten about both times. Both times my food sat on the shelf getting cold until I approached someone and asked about it. The second time they showed me my pizza to confirm it was crispy like I ordered it then sent it back to the kitchen to be cut. The kitchen staff wouldnt cut it until I raised my voice asking why its taking 3+ minutes to cut a single pizza. If you go there for take out be sure to ask about your order frequently or youll end up with a cold meal. Food is good, but I had to reheat it in my toaster oven.

Good food, comparable price to other pizza joints. Service was unusually slow on a Friday night (our server was also manning the bar). We ordered a large half and half pie. A girl brought out a pizza that was clearly not a large and clearly not what we ordered and we told her several times this wasnt our pizza but she persisted in setting it on the table and telling us we were incorrect. After at least two minutes she came back and took the pizza from our table and gave it to the table next to us! Our correct pizza was brought out a couple minutes later and was very good.

I really wanted it to be good. Came here with my wife. The crowds made us think this would be a tasty place to eat but we were wrong. The pizza is not good at all, and costs way to much for what it is too. they really just need to turn up their oven temperature a few hundred degrees and it would be vastly improved. The atmosphere was really the only winning feature but honestly it just increased the disappointment.

Always a great experience! We order the wings extra crispy and they are awesome. The pizza is great. Closest to NY as I have found in AZ. I have had salads, garlic rolls, different pasta dishes and I would recommend all! Desserts are great too...but usually dont have room to get em! But when i do...cookies and cream or the zeppolis...cant go wrong with either.

Really great gluten free pizza and regular pizza as well. Most amazing honey bar-b-que boneless chicken wings ever! I only tried one of their sandwiches which only scored a 6 for me. Awesome service from a totally friendly and professional staff. Weve eaten there maybe 10 times and If it wasnt for one mediocre, but still ok, sub I would give them a 5 stars

The pizza was good, not great, and not really like any New York style pizza I ever had. They definately have a problem with service. The workers all seem frazzled and over burdened, causing slowness and messed up or missed orders. During my visit there were screaming and wailing kids. It was an almost continuous audio assault.

Great tasting pizza. The crust is amazing, the dough they use is definitely super savory. Tried their BBQ chicken pizza and the pesto tomato pizza, both were really tasty. BBQ sauce was slightly on the sweeter side, but thats my taste. Canthe wait to try the other varieties, Would definitely return.

We typically have a good experience here even on busy nights. Its Wednesday and weve waited 30 min for a small pizza. Our waitress came over twice, never checked on us, never refilled drinks and continually walked past our table. Had to go to her to get a check and a box. Inexcusable service

I was a loyal customer to the Chandler location for years. I visited this one last night (just moved). My order went way past the time they estimated, not to mention it was incorrect and the quality rivaled that of Peter Piper. If I ever eat it again, it will be in Chandler

We went for a late lunch. Got a large pizza (it was HUGE). The pizza ended up on the floor mostly by my fault (took two slices off the same size, tipped over) and the made us another pizza no charge. Pizza was great and we enjoyed it for 3 days it was so much food.

NYPD always makes things better. Even the water is good here. Seriously, its the only place I dont need lemon in my water. Wings are fantastic and the pizza is amazing. No extra topping are needed to hide the taste of bad pizza like at most other places.

The crust on this delicious pizza is amazing! Pizza price is a little higher than some of the standard chains but well worth it. Note to self, there are no specials or coupons accepted on Friday which happens to be our pizza night!

Best Pizza in Arizona. Starting to get a bit pricey though for pizza. They are also getting noticeably more stingy with their toppings... not sure why, they charge way more than enough to cover. I still love the food thoygh!

My family and I just finished two pizzas a half Sicilian and a 14" sized pizza. The toppings were pepperoni, grilled chicken, spinach and sausage. We loved the pizza and the service. We will definitely return. Two thumbs up!!

One of my favorite restaurants to go to here in the Valley, the pizza rocks, apparently the water filters they use have a lot to do with how it tastes. I LOVE the "pizza by the slice" option thats available throughout the day.

I am a big fan of NYPD Pizza. The pizza is always great whether hot or cold. Usually I order out here and they always have my pizza and wings ready to go. Very nice people. Pick-up parking in front of the business.

Love this place. Pizza is bomb and the up-state style wings are even better! Just wish they would start some sort of loyalty program as I go there once a week. This place is pricey.
