Ive heard so many good things about Dreamland and was excited to try it. I was incredibly disappointed. We waited twenty minutes for our appetizers, and twenty more for our ribs. The appetizers were sub-par and the ribs were fair at best. (Not worthy of their reputation in my opinion) Three tables around us stormed out after never getting drinks, and there were tables all around us that were never cleaned. Our meal came with cole slaw, and our waiter brought it to us after we finished our ribs. Overall it was a horrible experience and we will not be back. Ever.

Maybe Im not too used to BBQ culture, but given Dreamlands reputation around here, I expected better. While theres nothing wrong with serving Wonder Bread as a complimentary side and presenting every item on a styrofoam plate, what they charged us for such service was a bit absurd. Otherwise, nice atmosphere, good meat, and decent banana pudding, but its all just too expensive. I can get just as good a meal elsewhere for cheaper, and above all, have it served to me on a real plate.

I liked nothing about this location. I have been many times to the dreamland off skyland and it had great BBQ and a low key atmosphere and good waitresses. This location in Northport is a disaster. The waitresses take THEIR sweet time coming around serving customers and then when they actually get around to taking your order your food takes at least 20 minutes to be brought out. Oh and add another for your check to be handed back to you after you give them your card.

Dreamland came highly recommened. I dont know why. It was average BBQ at best. The ribs were tough and not very meaty. The chicken was difficult to get through, definitly not fall off the bone. Everything was served on styrofoam plates with the flimsiest plastic tableware. It made eating a challenge. I most likely will not be returning to eat here.

We were there for dinner on Friday evening. The food was ok. Our Server was friendly, but OVERWHELMED. I have never waited so long for food. A party of six, on the patio and we waited over an hour, after we were seated. We ordered straight off the menu, nothing difficult. I blame management and not our Server.

They are usually pretty good. Sometimes the ribs can be tough, but other times theyre great. Their BBQ baked potato with pork is a very good option if youre not in the mood for ribs! I do wish they had a Rib Plate with sides like some of the other Dreamland locations, but they only offer ribs by the rack or half rack.

Awesome history, atmosphere, and food selection. The staff has Almost always been really good. The quality of the ribs has varied over the years nearly every time Ive been. Always good; sometimes theyre the best thing youve ever put in your mouth. Anytime its Alabama football game day be prepared to wait

Ribs are not fall off the bone like I like. You really have to work at them. So much sauce that when I was trying to get the meat off my last rib the none shot across the table and landed in the empty seat across from me. Clean up on aisle 5! Oh well it was good so at least I can say Ive been there!

Very good barbeque. The smell is fantastic. The sauce is great. Meat was cooked perfectly. I had the Big Daddy pork sandwich, with beans and mac & cheese. Our table had ribs, stew, quesadilla, and all were excellent. Rachel took great care of us.

Yuummm. Great ribs and sausage. Simple menu, not your typical combos with sides here. Everything is individually priced. The night we went (Tuesday) had very slow service but we werent in a hurry. They did apologize.

The fact that they dont sell any beef products is a major let down. The wings were not good. They used the same spoon for my banana pudding as they used for the coleslaw. Bad move.
