STOLE $25 FROM ME. The worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I went to this business on Fathers Day to order 3 full racks of ribs for a Fathers Day dinner with my family. When I was checking out I gave the owner my debit card and told him that he may have to manually enter the card number because my magnetic strip was worn out. He proceeded to swipe my card 8-10 times anyways and of course after that the machine declined it. He then told me in order to pay him I needed to go across the street to the ATM to get cash because he isnt allowed to run my card again after it declined. I told him the money was there and that the only reason it declined was because he tried to swipe it too many times and asked him to please enter it manually. Again he said no. So I went to get the money because I was already late to my Fathers Day dinner and didnt have time to go elsewhere with my money. I came back and gave him $80 for the 3 racks of ribs that I ordered. I got home and saw that he only gave me 2 racks!. I called them multiple times that day with no answer. Not wanting to leave during Fathers Day I decided to just wait until the next day to go get my money back. The next day I went back. I was polite in telling him that I had only received 2 racks of ribs instead of 3. After 15 minutes of him telling me I was lying to him about how many ribs I received, and another worker piping in say yes I remember him giving you 3.. he told me "leave my restaurant now, Im done with you." Needless to say I made a large scene inside exclaiming to everyone that this man stole $25 from me. I will never eat here again under any circumstance. This is awful management, and the owner is down right rude. He does not deserve your money.

I am going to go ahead and state my father owns said establishment. With that said. Our fries are home made. Not frozen processed. So we start with whole Idaho potatoes and cut them to size. Fry them at your order time. Not before. Not in a bin waiting before you showed up. Every fry every time is made to order. If the fries are not to your liking you are always welcome to say soemthing. The corn bread is not pan oven baked or cast iron skillet. It is fried. If that is not your preference then that is fine. But there is nothing wrong with our corn bread. The meat. I apologize about. Meat loses temperature quickly and we train everyone to get the protein last. But sometimes errors happen. The sauce is a different story. We dont have to put any sauce on the sandwich if you think its hot. And you can add your own. That way it wont burn your lips. Which sauce has a hard time doing since it is at room temp always. But simply come back and allows the chance to make it right. Everyone there works very hard every day to make the food that has been a staple for center point since 1965. We have not changed only add too. And invite you to come back and try us again. We will always strive to serve the best damn bbq Johnny Cash ever ate.

7/3/2016 We got there, ordered our takeout and then took our seat ($50.00 after tip). The order was 1 family pack, 8 wings, and a chicken fingers basket. We sat there and sat there and sate there and sat there. After about 30 minutes I went up to find out if we missed the call or something and they told us they were waiting on the chicken strips. Keep in mind they had already put everything else in the bag and it had been that way for about 10 minutes. After about another 15 minutes or so our order was complete and they thanked us for our patience. We got home and unloaded the food. I pulled out the chicken strip box and opened it to find two tiny, shriveled strips and a bunch of very soggy fries (I will upload the picture). We dug into the barbecue and it was a tasteless mess. Seriously, it was bad. The wings looked like garbage so we didnt even attempt to eat them. As far as I am concerned, they have no business taking money for the food they provide. Their business model is borderline theft. It was a pathetic, disgusting mess and the owner should be ashamed. There is no pride at all in the food they provide.

Been living in the area 13 years and finally decided to try. My husband got a BBQ plate with baked beans, fries and cornbread. I ordered a BBQ sandwich. His food was COLD like refrigerator cold. Fries were (his words) "horrible & cold". They looked brown & rubbery. His cornbread was a pale, yellowish white. It didnt even look done. My sandwich was cold and dry - had no taste we whatsoever. The bread was soggy. There was nothing about this meal we liked. My husband said it was the worst BBQ hes ever had. Cleanliness of the restaurant was ZERO on a scale from 1-10. People were also cross-contaminating. Cashiers were fixing plates, grabbing pickles and cornbread and wiping their hands on their shirts. No gloves. They were also putting things in the trash & touching food afterwards. Totally gross. We almost walked out. Will NEVER go back.

I have been going to CPBBQ for many years and have watched its steady decline. I just made my last visit. How ironically fitting was the sign behind the register as I checked out. "Quality remains long after price is forgotten". My wife and I ordered the BBQ chicken. What came out was the most pitiful, over cooked, size of two chicken nuggets, then cooled, then reheated under a lamp, cured to the texture of leather, then lathered with BBQ sauce, thrown on a foam divided plate and finally placed under my nose. It really needed chainsaw to go with it, because I went through the foam plate just trying to cut it. All for the fantastic value of $7.95. I mean, come on. BBQ is a passion and CPBBQ has obviously lost it. El Pollo Triste

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I called to order lunch for myself and several of my co-workers. I was asked if I could hold for a moment. I didnt not get placed on hold. He simply set the phone down and I listened to all of the employees laugh and cut up for 15 minutes before I hung up and attempted to call back. I thought maybe they had simply forgotten I was on the phone. I tried for the next 15 minutes to call and no one answered the phone. We decided to eat lunch elsewhere, but Ive continued to call for the past 30 minutes so that I can place a complaint with the manager yet still no one has answered. One of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had.

We have lived in Hendersonville for 23 years. Ive driven by a million times and always heard how great it was. Smelled it smoking and decided to finally stop to buy a pound. Friendliest staff I have ever met. However, when I got home and pulled the masking taped, styrofoam container out of the stapled brown paper bag, I was disappointed. It tasted way to raw and chewy and undercooked. After we threw it out, we were amazed at the amount of grease still left in the container. For almost $9.00 a pound. I thought it would be better. Not a big fan. We will stick with Jacks and Witts.
