Absolutely the worst service I had in a long time. My mother and I go into have dinner and waited to be shown to our seats. The supposed owner looks at us and does a rather rude hand wave to show us to our seats. Now in the korean culture, its always been customary to greet the customers and show them to our seats. Not even in traditional diners do the servers so rudely show our seats. We go sit down and wait 10min for our waiter to even show up. He then immediately asks "what we want to order." But it was in korean, but it was extremely rude the way he asked. "What do you want." Are you kidding me? What is that? Then I tell him that we havent even received water or anything to drink. He completely ignores me and asks "what we want," once again. My mother and I got up and left and the owner doesnt even bat an eye at us. I wish I could be exaggerating all this, but to my dismay, it was all 100% true. Theres a reason my father and his friends never come here. Absolutely worst service ive had in a long time. Please do yourself a favor and never come here. Please, please, please instead go to "Blue House," in the Vernon hills area. Much better food and service. I wish I can give a lower rating, but this only allows me to give a minimum of one star.

Service was absolutely terrible. I went twice, the first time, I ordered over the phone and used their menus code (A1 would be bulgogi D2 would be bibimbap) Due to a miscommunication, I received ox blood soup instead of what I actually ordered. I apologized about this, but the owner actually began to yell and scold me about ordering the "wrong thing", even though I had very clearly stated what I wanted. Fast forward to maybe a year later, I go and order with my boyfriend. This time, to prevent any sort of miscommunication, we order inside for take out. I point out what we both want, I wanted the pork and octopus and my boyfriend just wanted the pork. Several times I say that I want both. 20 minutes later when its time to pick up, only one of our orders is there. I tell them that the order is incorrect and pay for the second order and wait for it to be finished. When we come back to pick it up, both owners(a husband and wife) are extremely rude and after I take my food, the wife begins to PUSH me out of the door. Definitely will not be coming back.

Ive gone here a couple times now and every time the service has been great, the food freshly made, and very authentically Korean. Very nice portions, as well. I think its a family owned restaurant and you can really tell all the work and love they put into every detail. Would recommend this little local gem to everyone.

Its a great Korean restaurant, good service - even though during busy week ends they seem to need more hands, authentic and tasty food, low price too! The owners are nice people who serves any one with equally kind attitude.

Very good place for Korean food. Grilled meats here is fantastic. Last week, I saw a new English speaking server (well shes more fluent anyway), so that might be helpful to some.
