I have gone to Navco Pizza most of my childhood and loved it! The previous owners were so nice and sweet. They knew the customers name and there was regular staff working in the shop. However, due to recent change in management, the quality of the food and service has gone down. Yes, the pricing is good but it doesnt truly mean anything. I feel like every time I go into Navco there is always someone different working there. Whenever I call to order food which I typically order their spaghetti they are always out of noodles. I dont understand how you as a business you do not know how much food or product you need to buy or make for that week. I know youre probably thinking well maybe they had more customers that day but still it was never a regular occurrence with the previous management. Also, they should make extra because its always nice to have extra food. Another time I called and asked for hot wings and they were out it. Also, I had called for a steak philly and they didnt have any green peppers. Its like a constant repeat of each other and not having enough products. To add the final topping I ordered a Calzone from them and the manager said, "It will be ready in 20 minutes." I was very happy so I waited for at least 30-40 minutes before I went to pick it up because I know at times they can get crowded or hectic. I finally get there to pick up my sandwich and they tell me they cannot find my order or sandwich. I was very upset and they offered to make my sandwich right then but I politely said, no. Why should I have to wait for you to make my sandwich when I called in and ordered the sandwich. To make matters worst the manager is the one who took my order. I did talk to the manager and he said they got hectic and lost my sandwich. He then proceeded to say he was sorry and asked me would I like for him to go into the back and make him a sandwich. I said no and I honestly felt like he didnt truly care at all about me or my order. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and this mines. I dont think I will truly ever want to go back to a place that I was truly so fond of and adored.

Best kept secret in Mobile. We pick up lunch from Navco about 2 times a week. Their Pizza is great, they use a milk based cheese and fresh ingredients. Ive had everything on the menu from the open faced roast beef poboy to spaghetti and salad. Even the salads are great and are made fresh to order. The prices are actually too low for the quality of food they make. In all the years Ive eaten there, Ive never had a bad meal. Today is Lasagna.....oh, and dont forget to try a calzone!

I found this pizzaria about 18 years ago. As a kid my grand mother used to walks us there every saturday to eat. We would always get the Calzone and split it. The way the hand made dough crisp and the fresh sauce combine make for a delightful; erotic sensation in your mouth. From the sausage to the mushrooms this dish is in every way exceptional. If you have not been there you need to do so. You could not ask for a better meal for your money. From the mouths of babes BROVO!

Ive been going there for 12 years but then they sold it to a family member and he is completely ruined a business with his help I waited around for 40 minutes for them to tell me that they did not have any gravy for a roast beef sub plus they didnt even make my sandwich and offered me a free Coke with the previous owners it was always first class service and they knew you by your first name I will never be going back again too many times they have messed up its a shame

Cons Had to wait a few mins before anyone even came to take my order. Got my calzone to go and when I opened container they didnt include any sauce for dipping so I had to get my own from store before I could eat. Pros Food is great for the cost. People seemed nice. After ordering food was made quick. Update Went and got a calzone a 2nd time and they included sauce saying the people forget sometimes. Calzone tasted much better this time

As a native Mobilian, Im not surprised often in this city. Things often match my expectations. I was wrong about Navco Pizza. The calzone was great, the atmosphere (well, you dont go there for the atmosphere) wasnt all that bad as well. The older gentleman behind the counter was quite pleasant and nice and mentioned theyd been in business 15 years. Prices seemed almost cheap for what we got. Ill be back soon for more. Thanks!

Well, I came there on the recommendation of a co-worker, made a special trip in fact. My order was a bit delayed in getting to me, but when I got it, it was hot, loaded with toppings and delicious. Plus, the customer service is on time. Will definitely go again.

Best pizza in Alabama, maybe even the Southeast. They precook their meats so their pizzas are grease free. They have good sandwiches too. Dont be fooled by the outside appearance. The inside is not any better but the food cannot be beat.

I havent been there in years and remembered them today. The Chef Salad is different but so good, very fresh, not to mention reasonable. Cant wait to try the roast beef sandwich again, Im sure its still delish too !

I was a little nervous at first because of the location and atmosphere but the pizza and calazones were excellent. Amazing flavor. And the dough was fresh and cooked perfectly! Loved it!
