1. The Redneck Shawarma. 2. The Mixed Grill. 3. Discovering Next Sandwich To Order. I mistook this place for the Pita Pit, and although the Pita Pit is good, Mediterranean Sandwich Shop is the absolute greatest. First off, so very friendly staff (Schillinger Rd.) and they take such pride in preparing a great sandwich for you. If fast food workers were like these guys, I would be all for giving them a raise to $15 an hour! My absolute favorite so far is the redneck shawarma. Trust. Me. (Please!!!!!) The next one I tried is the local favorite, the mixed grill. It is GoodAF!!! (Translation: Great) The great thing is that there is still so much on the menu to yet try. Dont know if I can pass on my favorites though. Ever.

Every time my family and I eat at the Mediterranean Sandwich Company the experience is awesome. The customer service is always above expectation and the staff is exceptionally friendly. Top this off with some of the best food you can get in Mobile and youre lucky youve found this place! Even the kids have found something they love on the menu and for a Mediterranean restaurant, this can be tricky with the young ones. This place is well deserving of droves of visitors with keen appetites and a willingness to be fed some truly delicious grub.

OMG! You MUST try this place. I first tried the one downtown, and this one is by far my favorite because its close to my house. However the one downtown is just as good. Cannot say anything bad about the place, even the sandwiches I dont like are good but not preferred. My favorite is the Spartan and I highly suggest it. And you have to try the hummus. Our office goes every Friday for pick-up and were never disappointed! I tried the redneck shawarma, and it was good but I really love the Spartan!

Ive tried like half of menu by now, and have nothing but good things to say. Explore a little, try some flavors you havent ventured to before and enjoy. Between this location and downtowns, its always delicious, filling, and for a really great price. ((Also, the downtown area is open late, for any of you night goers!))

this place is a real gem. about 8 minutes north of 10, its well worth the detour if youre passing through. the redneck gyro (traditional gyro meat & conecuh sausage) is delicious. their sides are also great. the carbonara orzo is creative and works very well. highly recommended.

Had the chicken schwarma. I have some bad gyros in my life, however this was not one of them. Chicken was flavorful. He tsaziki sauce was light and delicious. The pita was fresh and fluffy. All in all and excellent lunch. Will definitely return when Im back in Mobile.

First of all, the food is great! Second, I came in after a long day five minutes till they closed, and they were very friendly and helpful. This really is one of my favorite places to eat in Mobile... You should try it if youre passing through.

I get the same thing from here at least 3 times a month. The Redneck Chicken Shawarma. It seems to taste better everytime I eat it. The staff is always nice even when theyre swamped with customers. I could eat here for every meal of every day.
