The terrible customer service experience last weekend has to be addressed. The story is - I have been shopping at Public on County Line for almost 8 and a half years. Even though I live about 3 minutes away I used to go around through Highway 72 (Gilespie was not open through yet) to get to my favorite store. A lot of Publix workers have known me for long time and say Hello when they see me. So last weekend I went happily to Public just on a short shopping trip, and I walked in with a handbag and two reusable bags that I always take to minimize waste. So I got 6 items, tasted some samples, and was approaching the register to pay. The was one of their administrators standing in front of the registers. She saw me, and something triggered in her head that today I am a POSSIBLE SHOPLIFTER. Maybe because the 6 items were nicely organized and the reusable bags were standing in the cart (I was about to put them on a checkout belt anyway). So she told her aide to go and check out my cart ( I saw everything). So there came the aide with a fake smile on her face and told me she is going to help me to unload groceries. I said: "I do not need help, I have only few items". But she had to do the job her boss told her. So I was almost pushed out of my way, and the aide unloaded my cart and checked out my reusable bags. After the search that they called "help" both administrator and other worker went away. That is how I was treated after I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars on groceries and pharmacy in that Publix. So I went to my car very upset and thinking if I should ever go to Public on County Line ever again.

Outstanding service. When you ask anyone where somethimg is, they dont just give you a vague aisle number. They walk with you to the aisle, help you find the right section, and the right item. Thats outstanding customer service and product knowledge. If they dont carry a specific brand, flavor, etc., they will check to see if they can get it and special order item at no extra cost. Their produce is always top quality, and the produce clerks constantly check, reaarange and regresh the produce section. Publix is one of my favorite grocery stores.

Publix has been a great addition to our community ever since it was built. Not only are the fresh foods really fresh and good, and their shelves are always stocked, but in 2011 when Alabama was hit by over 100 tornadoes and the entire community was without electricity for a week, and all the other stores were closed, Publix stayed open with their emergency power and sold dry ice and I think at one point even were selling electric generators to the community. They earned my loyalty and my thanks.

We went in to shop with one of there grocery cards. Id gotten the card the trip before and no-one mentioned that I needed to register it. When I went to check out they refused to honor it and wouldnt offer the use of a shop card like most stores. I refused my order and walked out and have not been back months later. The manager was astounded but would do nothing to remedy the problem.

I love this Publix!! It has the friendliest staff of any establishment! Mark in Customer Service has gone out of his way to help me more than once! The store is well stocked and impeccably clean! They are even very kind about all my coupons- never once have I gotten a hard time!!!! I LOOOOOVE this Publix!

Friendly and helpful staff; great selection of foods. Everyday prices can be a bit higher than other stores, but they have terrific BOGO sales. Would recommend buying fresh beef elsewhere, but otherwise I prefer to shop here. Great bakery, too!

Fast and friendly service. Excellent produce. The store is just the right size - big enough to have a terrific selection but not so big that you need GPS coordinates to find things.

YOU PAY 9,5% tax at this LOCATION Its not on your receipt, percentage wise but if you do the math ..... I dont know why ???? Publix, can you tell us why?
