believe the way that people treat musicians , belly dancers and singers here in Oregon specially business owners they treat you like they own you or what you do have no value or any kind appreciation. specially The owner of KOLBEH RESTAURANT AND LOUNGE ! HASSAN OR ( HERRY ) This guy have absolutely no manners or respect to no body and Im very glad and happy to not do any kind of business with that place or even as customer . Its sad because we have passion for something that we love , we let things slide sometimes but dont ever let any one no matter who hes walk all over you or try to put you down . to every single musician , belly dancer , and singer out there we bring joy , happiness, smile and fun to people and that is price less ! Im sorry I have to say that I cant sing next Sunday at Kolbeh Restaurantlounge ! any were else but that place . Im sorry again and hope fully next time , different place

Look out for these guys…Their food menu prices look very reasonable but they did not have a hard drinks menu on display and I found out the hard way that the martinis they served were $18/double shot. This was very deceptive on their part and when I called them on it they became very defensive and aggressive toward me. So I just decided to pay the bill and move on. Just be on the lookout. Our total bill was over $270 for a party of five. There are much better restaurants in the Portland area that serve much better food than Kolbeh does and that don’t rake you over the coals on drinks. I would recommend staying away!

I couldnt help but notice the previous reviewers concept of time: 2 teas took 45 minutes, replacing one took another 25, and another 90 minutes for your food to arrive. Thats a total of 2.6 hours. That seems like a bit of an exaggeration? Ive been to Kolbeh several times and Ive never had slow service. They have, by far, the best Kabobs in Portland and its one of the few places one can enjoy a relaxing Hookah on the outdoor patio. Dont let the haters sway you from visiting this great restaurant!

Im persian and I KNOW my persian food. I used to go to Kabob House in beaverton town square, but the owner there is an angry old man with no service and terrible attitude. There werent much good options until Kolbeh opened again with better food! This place has good food and very good service. I took my gf here and the hostess checked up on us often. Im going to become a regular if they keep it up.

Go for lunch. Have the $7.99 buffet. You will not be disappointed. If you go for dinner, the service is just awesome. My only recommendation for them would be a wider selection on the dinner menu, specifically more lamb dishes, and a kebob combo that includes the veggie kebob.

I go there twice a week for the amazing lunch buffet, and Ive never had bad service! the food quality is great...and great prices, I disagree with the comment about bad service..Its a great place to eat! I recommend it.

I like this place for Middle eastern food. The lady who is there for lunch is very helpful and even special ordered some kababs for me when they were not on the lunch buffet.

Amazing food, and a VERY affordable daily lunch buffet from 11am to 3pm with all sorts of Mediterranean options. Yum!! Highly recommended.
