This is probably my favorite quick lunch place in Corvallis. It also helps that I work nearby. I go to Old World Deli at least once a week and I am never disappointed. There isnt anything too spectacular about the place, they just make really tasty sandwiches and the employees are always friendly. My go to sandwich is the Nutty Vegetarian and I am not even vegetarian. The combination of apples, cheese, and sunflower seeds is delicious. I highly recommend if you are looking for a lunch place and craving a sandwich.

Best liverwurst sandwich in town. The owner is ridiculously friendly and often gives out brownies. All the sandwiches are good, the reuben and liverwurst stand out above the others. Live music plays often; my favorite of which is an elderly polka band. The decor consists of local art, old german house facades, and protruding limbs from said germanic house facades. It is like something out of a homemade Disney Land. This is a classic Corvallis spot.

Friendly staff explained the ropes to me. Counter service (deli) makes delicious and huge sandwiches. I also ordered a small bowl of the minestrone soup, which I found to be really good. After the first half of the sandwich and the soup, there was no room for the second half or the brownie for that matter. Cool ambiance. Ill be back and will bring the family. The beers looked good, but wasnt able to try any.

If you are looking for great food and beer with a very relaxed atmosphere then Old World Deli is for you. Perfect for lunchtime meetings or catching up with an old friend over a coffee and some dessert. Alternatively if you need a place for poetry readings on an evening or a writers club to meet, Old World Deli will suit your needs.

Very laid back, I was expecting a sub sandwich. I got a regular type sandwich, BUT! I wasnt disappointed the meat was packed on and everything was fresh. I cant wait to go back. The chip selection should be better if there isnt one already. Not a big tortilla chip with sandwich guy.

This is a really nice place for a Saturday lunch with the family. The kids love it, the food is great, and the buddy lunch is one of the best values in town. The staff are tops and go over and above to make sure customers are happy. Dont forget the brownies.

The French Dip Roast Beef sandwich very good. The building and decor are wonderful. My only reservation is that it costs about ten dollars minimum, which is a bit spendy for lunch on a regular basis. Nevertheless, definitely worth going.

This is my favorite place to eat. The building is a ton of fun to look around in and the Roast Beef sandwich is just awesome. The people here are wonderful (both servers and customers). Its a standard of mine in Corvallis.
