I LOVE LAPOMA IN DOWNTOWN NEWARK. WHEN I MOVED TO INDIANA A FEW YEARS AGO AND WOULD TRY TO ORDER A SOPAPILLA AT A MEXICAN RESTAURANT THEY THOUGHT I WAS NUTS. CAME BACK HOME AND HAD TO HAVE ONE THE VERY FIRST DAY. THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY, PLACE IS COZY AND FOOD IS DELISH!

Food is great but service is terrible. They nickel and dime you for everything! I asked for a aide of sour cream and received the smallest cup and was charged $1.50. Not a fan of those scheme business practices.

Ordered delivery it came an hour late and the order was wrong called the number and the claimed it was the drivers fault then offered to deliver the right food for a price and delivery the next day never again

Wonderful food. Great service and I imagine the business will thrive again after the construction is finished 9 months from now. Eat there if you can get to it, and keep that business alive.

Horrible food. Very bland. Chips were stale and out of a bag. Salsa was similar to ketchup. Extremely Rude server. Dont even sell fajitas! !!!!! Wtf!!! Avoid at all cost!!
