Today I was craving some Jamaican food so I went to The Jamerican Dinner. Ive been there before and was somewhat satisfied, so I went back again today. Today was a completely different experience. The oxtail had absolutely NO flavor. There was no seasoning and no heat. I like Jamaican food because of the heat, so I was truely disappointed. I didnt taste any thyme, pimento or scotch bonnet. Those are the flavors the make Jamaican food authentic and delicious. Im sorry to sayI wont be back. It was not worth the $13.00 they charged.

The first time I went here the food was decent....had some flavor so I went back. That was good too but it was breakfast that I ordered on that trip. I then went back a third time and ordered the oxtail dinner. Looked beautiful on the plate but when I tasted it, it was horrible. There was no seasoning and there wasnt any indication that they even used a scotch bonnet pepper. So damned disappointed, ugh. Should be looking to hire a new chef.

The food (oxtails and jerk chicken) is decent here. The smaller oxtails are real tough to chew but the food is overall good. Their prices are very high as well. And they dont warn people about their beef patties, theyre way too spicy, I couldnt even finish it, and I love spicy foods.

A hole in the wall with delicious good food in large servings. Friendly staff. Get the oxtails with rice and beans. All the plates also have a generous serving of cabbage. They also have desert for a dollar or two. A definite comfort food spot.

The food usually good but today I got 4,small oxtail and a plate full of rice. The cabbage was over cook. Not to mention only to table spoons. No flavor. The curry chicken was not good.

Cant rate this high enough. I pick up Escovitch Fish and Oxtails for my buddy from here whenever we are in town for work (and out of work before 8pm.)

Down to earth place, friendly people, and delicious food. The jerk chicken was very good! Well definitely be back to try the curry goat and oxtail.
