We almost missed it because the building sits back off the road behind a Valvoline, FYI. Ample parking, looks crazy tiny from the outside, walking in its small but cozy! We went on a very very very busy Friday morning and took the only open table left. Seating was pretty cramped but worked. Our server was covering the whole floor alone but still managed to keep our coffee cups full and was getting everyones food out as soon as it hit the window, we were impressed! She was working her butt off that morning but still attentive, friendly and smiling her way around the restaurant! My eggs came perfectly medium, as ordered, the sausage was a delicious surprise and the bacon was crispy as were the home fries. My husband got a Benny plate and Im pretty sure inhaled it, he loved it and raved about the hollandaise. We also split a pancake with strawberries and whipped cream which was giant and a yummy post breakfast treat. Everything was great! We will definitely be back again.

Decent breakfast spot with decent prices but oh such a tiny place! Get here early so you dont have to wait too long. Most of the staff is friendly and accommodating but our waitress literally disappeared after she gave us our food (which took close to 1/2 hour to get). She asked us how everything was as she squeezed by our table to pick up another order and didnt even stop to listen. The place was so busy that we forgave her. I had a veggie omlet that was pretty bland but could have been terrific if it was seasoned a bit. My friend had pancakes which were the size of the moon and pretty thick. She ate over 2/3 of them so they were pretty good.

Went there yesterday and it did NOT disappoint! Had an egg-white omelette (they make their own egg beaters/white mixture) and it was delicious! Lets talk about the home fries... WOW. They were perfect!!! Second best home fries in Syracuse. (ask me where the best in Syracuse are if youre curious!!!) But their home fries were DELICIOUS! Ive been to Rise N Shine quite a few times and its always been spot on. Super sweet and attentive waitress (Dommie Dom??! Great name!) made the experience perfect. She was awesome! Great spot to have breakfast and Rise and Shine! :)

Great food, efficient service, and a good breakfast vibe. Just make sure to get there early enough because its a small venue and can get packed quickly. Last time I was here, I ordered the spicy avocado wrap and it came out with bacon inside, which wasnt listed on the menu. I was able to pick it out so it wasnt a big deal, but I talked to our server and she said there was an error in the menu printing. If you have dietary concerns I would check with the server before ordering to make sure the ingredients from the menu are listed right.

The bananas foster was very under cooked and not what bananas foster should be. The toast was toasted barely on the outside and cold bread on the inside. The coffee and omelet were mediocre at best. We waited over an hour for our food and at least another 30 minutes for the check (after the waitress looked at us a few times.) Needless to say, never will we be recommending this place to anyone, nor will we be back. Also, the entire visit, you could smell things burning in the kitchen.

My friend moved out here last fall and we have been searching everywhere for a great diner. We finally found one!!! Stellas is great but the service, food, and ambience here is sooo much better. The servers are attentive, the diner is small and cozy and the food is amazing! Best homefries around. Tip: serving sizes are HUGE. My friend actually took half of his breakfast home and had it for dinner and it was just as great!!

Service was incredible. My server Tara was friendly, fast and efficient. My food was excellent the home fries are the best Ive had. Also had the fresh baked cinnamon bun they make there it was unbelievable wish I got one to go as well. The outdoor seating is nice too. Will definitely be back. And if I could give this place a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Rate. I would.

Amazing food and great service. One of the best eggs benedict I have ever had, and some very unique menu options. Very small waiting area, but they let you call ahead to put yourself on the list, and will let you wait in your car and will text you when your table is ready. Its easy to support a small business when it is run this well!

I only knew this place was here because of a sandwich board at the street, and I am glad I did! They offer typical diner fare, but everything was delicious, fresh, and very affordable. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The place itself is fairly small, which gives it a comfortable, community vibe. Will definitely be back!

Food, service, and value are tremendous here. So nice to visit a very personal, privately-owned diner instead of he chain places, and the quality difference is immediately apparent. You might have to wait a few minutes since Rise N Shine is so popular, but things move quickly and it is well worth it. Biggest cookies Ive ever seen!

Amazing experience. The food was on a whole notha level. Omelets were delicious as well as the home made potatos. Pancakes and the eggs and sausage were cooked to perfection and this place truly feels like your friends home. It was quite warm inside in the rigid Syracuse cold. I am from California and I was quite surprised.

Loved this place. If it looks packed, DO NOT GO AWAY! We had 3 tables ahead of us and it only took us 10 minutes to be seated! This place has all of the diner classics but a ton of original creations. There menu always has something new. I had a burger with a coffee rub and a bacon onion jam and it was delicious!

The menu has a variety of uniquely flavored dishes. There are plenty of options to consider. Service is friendly. Despite a packed house, food was served hot and quickly. I cleared my plate. Will definitely dine here again...there are a lot of other items that Id like to try.

The Best Breakfast Spot in Syracuse area! Great food , an awesome staff, nice environment and fair prices. Cant ask for more. Its a small place so waiting is a possibility anytime and a likelihood at peak hours , but there is a reason people will wait here ...its worth it !

Food was excellent, and our waitress was very fast, friendly and efficient. I was also very impressed with the speed they were able to clear tables and get people seated considering it was a very busy Saturday morning.

Cozy diner that offers tradional menu items and also an ever changing selection of ecclectic breakfast dishes. Their coffee is delicious. Staff is ALWAYS friendly. My favorite breakfast spot in Syracuse!
