I mostly do takeout at Takara, and its usually pretty fast. I like that the menu has Korean and Japanese specialties as well as (usually really good) sushi. I really like their okdol bibimbab; its my go-to when I want Korean comfort food and cant go too far from Medfield. I only deduct a star because on busy nights, the bar can get really loud and crazy and when Ive gone to eat in the dining area, I can still hear the inebriated while Im trying to enjoy my meal. I know carpets are unsanitary and difficult to clean, but it would be nice to have something to dampen the bar sounds. Still, great place for takeout and props to them for using recyclable aluminum/plastic containers.

Strange that their most ordered dish isnt Japanese but its delicious nonetheless. Come hungry for the bibimbap and youll leave happy. The drinks and sushi were great as well, though Ive never paid that much for sushi in my life.

Pleasant sushi for suburbs, Korean dishes for non-sushi people. Good personalized maki rolls without being too sacrilegious to the craft.

Used to be a good sushi place but has gone way down hill. Smaller portions and much less than fresh sushi will keep me away
