I was starving after work today, so I went here to try something new. Boy, am I glad I did! First of all, I have never been treated with such good hospitality in this area! These guys are friendly and really care about what they are doing! Immediately I thought, "wow, this place is clean and well organized!" And the menu, simple, yet lots of offerings, the way a menu should be! Their prices are VERY reasonable too. I ordered a Super Cheeseburger (8oz pattie w/ your choice of pit beef, ham, turkey, or sausage on top! Grilled to order) It was juicy and amazing! And the bun was decent too. I also ordered a whole rack platter of ribs(st. Louis cut). It comes with two house-made sides of your choice. I chose coleslaw and mac n cheese. They make the best coleslaw ever! No exaggeration. The mac n cheese is exactly the way i like it, semi-bloated pasta and creamy, which is the way I think it always should be at a barbecue joint. The ribs were tender, but not too much. And the sauce is amazing!! I also got an order of burnt ends to munch on. These are the best burnt ends ever!! There was beef, ham, and sausage in there! And they were not even burned! Also, they use Luzianne tea, my personal favorite for iced tea. And the sweet tea was sweetened just how I like, sweet, but not overbearingly sweet. They have only been here for about 3 months now. Lets give these guys some much deserved business! This place is a gem. I will definitely be coming again. Thank you guys for the awesome dinner. Wish you all the best.

This place used to be really great. What happened? I ordered the pork barbecue slider special. The barbecue had chewy chunks of fat in it. The french fries had a nice potatoe taste but were soggy and limp. The serving of cole slaw was about 2 tablespoons of raw cabbage with just a kiss of dressing. The small slice of pumpkin pie was the high point - fresh and absolutely delicious. The shop itself appears to be spotlessly clean. The staff was a little distant but polite.

Grew up in Rosedale, so Chaps was always our go to place after Big Als was under new owners. But today, went to visit my brother Chuck and we all ordered from you. Everything was outstanding. Largest sandwiches ever. We had beef, turkey and ham. My daughter also had gravy fries. Definitely will make the drive when ever we want pit sandwiches again. I think Im trying ribs and a crab cake next time!

As a frequent flyer to local BBQ and pit beef joints this place has risen towards the top of my favorites. The sandwiches were served with plenty of meat and there was a good selection of sauces and condiments. The venue lacks some of the old charm that other established local BBQ have, but it surely wasnt that sterile feeling.

The food is amazing. So much better than I expected. The guys were awesome, let me try a bunch of things and then hooked me up with all sorts of extra stuff. Gave me the burnt ends of literally everything they had, a corn bread muffin, it was fantastic. Ill be going there very often from now on
