The service we received today was horrible, it was like our server didnt like us. The "happy hour every day" is in fact, false advertisement. When we ordered off the happy hour menu, we was told that it "probably isnt happy hour" because its the holidays. The big massive sign outside the establishment didnt say except for holisays and neither did the menu. When I pointed this out to our server, she said "yes indeed the menu does say every day". When my friend asked our server to double check if its happy hour, our server then said "it definitely isnt" without even checking for us. Then, after going away for a moment and coming back, she said "my boss said well do happy hour, shes a people pleaser"...... I was astounded. First of all lie to your customers, and then when you honor your word because someone pulls you up on it, make it sound like your customer is the problem and youre doing them the favour, rudely. A pretty terrible place unless youre into getting insulted and lied to.

February 25, 2014 - Food okay, service SUCKS, The waitress was rude, so it didnt give us a good feeling having our lunch there. After I paid my bill and gave her a penny tip, I told her you are the rudest person I ever had and she said I dont care and I also told her I would give this place a bad review on the website, she said I dont care. It really hurts me to write this because the owner who are a couple senior citizens are really nice people, they are the ones who will really be affected. Every review counts no matter who it is.

Many of the dishes are terribly sweet(not just the sweet and sour or orange sauces. Staff isnt friendly or accomodating. One time I noticed the tables were set with the silverware directly in the tables, not even on napkins, so I asked for a different fork so it would be clean and not bacteria ridden, and the waitress just took one fork off one of the other tables and handed it to me. Overall, its just not a good vibe in there and Ive been a few times.

The food in my experience has been almost always fantastic. There was one time quite a while ago when I ordered to go and it wasnt very good but the last few times Ive gone have been sensational. Staff is always very kind and courteous, the restaurant is always very clean and there is always a fun relaxing environment. You HAVE to try the cream cheese wontons. I know its not traditional Cantonese but still so good! 8.5/10 Would definitely recommend.

Ive come here a few times with my wife. The food is decent, specialty cocktails alright, but the service is REALLY bad. All day happy hour on Wednesday is nice for a weekday date out. This place could really use a good manager. So much potential that is really missed with service staff that seemingly have never worked a table before.

I am a connesouir of great lunch specials/happy hours in Santa Cruz...this place is the only one I know of that has a GREAT happy hour, 7 days a week, three to six p.m. Great owners, good people...nice hangout at Pleasure Point area.

I live here and frequent this place at least once a month. In fact, i just walked in for lunch with my wife and received a huge smile from the host/waitress. Food is always good. Love all the shrimp dishes.
