The walls are so covered with different menus it looks like a giant college bulletin board in here. They could really use some menu simplification. I counted five different "BBQ chicken plates" in various places on the walls, each with a different price and seemingly different specs. But maybe thats part of the appeal. The dining area is a small counter around the perimeter, so theres not much room during busy hours. But the food is delicious, especially the combination of barbecue chicken and the macaroni salad. The people are nice too.

Really, you have to be kidding me. I ordered the combo Kalua pork and Lau Lau and sure I got the Lau Lau but the Kalua pork was not existent. I was like a forth of what would even be considered a side item. I would bother doing business with this L & L location unless you plan on holding them to the fire on delivering a respectable portion. My fault was that it was a to go order and I didnt check the contents until I got home. Shame on you for cheating your customers. You really cant expect to stay in business doing this type of service.

If you want quick, decent food, this is the place to go. Its a standard L&L establishment and menu, thought they do have a ramen burger. Theres not a lot of seating (mostly bar seating), and thats probably because its in FiDi. So best to just get it to go. I got a Spam breakfast and it really hit the spot on a cold day. My mom, aunt, and grandma got the healthier options, which included brown rice and salad (instead of white rice). It was really affordable as well. My breakfast was around $8.

Great food at a great price! I really enjoyed the ramen burger here, it was a very unique and delicious offering. The food is priced abnormally cheap for San Francisco, if I worked nearbyi would eat there more often. My one complaint is that they do lack in cleanliness. In our last takeout order my girlfriend found a dead fly in the bottom of her takeout container. They are working to rectify the situation but I know she will not be returning for that reason.

Not like it should be. Being from Hawaii, I used to eat at L&L often since its quick and doesnt taste half bad. The one in Daly City does it right, but this place is actually pretty bad. The katsu sauce is watered down, the gravy for the loco moco is watered down, and the chicken katsu was tasteless. Barely any chicken and most pieces were just panko. Very disappointing.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE This place doesnt care about their customers, all they want is sell. They dont know how to treat their customers right. I will not recommend this place... and will never going back. They should learn that they have to take care their customers right because that is where they are making money. Without us customers, they will never make money!

Every time I eat hear I feel like Im going to get a delicious heart attack. I usually get the Chicken Katsu or BBQ with all mac. OMG. Its delicious but I I feel my arteries closing with every bite. The mac salad is delicious but boy is it probably bad for you! All in all, its cheap and delicious. Id go back.. if fact I have...like everyday. Its sad :(

I go here alot and today was the worse. I ordered my food and the guy messed it up then tried to give me a little small fry... I was on a lunch break had to go back three time after that I was done just ti get my monet back and to work. Then they didnt want to refund because no mangers where there and I should come back tomorrow and talk to mangers..

Pretty good baby back ribs. Im very picky when it comes to my BBQ, and this place held up to my expectation. Good little find. The meat was so tender and fell right off the bones, and the seasons vegetables were amazing! Mac and cheese was mediocre. Otherwise, highly recommended.

when we are missing hawaii and their local "plate lunch," we come to L&L. its very authentic and always hits the spot. get the teriyaki chicken or kahlua pork with brown rice and macaroni. dont forget the hawaiian sun guava to really take you to the islands!

L&L is really the only place to go this side of San Francisco for some Hawaiian BBQ. Its good food, fast service, and the owner is a sweetheart. Its not the healthiest place for lunch but not many places are. Its a nice break from that $5 subway.

loved the BBQ chicken with white rice, and loved the BBQ chicken sandwich. Im really glad I found this place and Im gonna try everything on the menu hopefully since its right next to my apartment.

Mostly fried food. No bbq sauce at a hawaiian bbq restaurant. Food was not tasty and its been sitting like a block in my stomach for hours since lunch time. Wont be going back.
