Peppercorn beefjerkey isnt what I ordered but its pretty much what I got when i got the brisket. It literally had the same taste seasoning wise...and okay it wasnt jerkey, but it almost took as much to chew through while drying my entire mouth out lke a napkin. Who is the Chef here!? If its not the owner, fire him. If it is, dude. You dont know BBQ, why open a BBQ joint? People giving it 5 stars...saying irs the best bbq theyve ever had...must have never had BBQ literally anywhere else. This is awful. The most dry brisket ive ever had and the mac n cheese isnt creamy, its got that grainy taste to it because they didnt melt the cheese with butter and cream properly...they used milk..ugh. This aint good. The corn was SOGGY. Not crisp, a good boiled cob would be crisp, with delicious butter and salt. This had no salt and I ordered delivery. They put one dalllop or butter which melted, so I couldnt get it all over the corn. The corn was so soggy. So absurdly overboiled...and then soaked,in water for days??? Then boiled like WHAT did I just eat? It was like mush on a cob. No salt either. And my,hotel room has no salt here lmao. Gah, im so upset because I was stoked to have at least decent bbq. Do the chef or employees eat this and think this is good? Message to,the cook: Just cuz people are probably afraid to,hurt your feelings and let you know its trash, or maybe theyre afraid youll get mad at them either way, whlever tells you "wow this is so gokd" while smiling...is lieing. No one likes dry to the bone food...and unless you have NO care for quality, or your too arrogant to admit your cooking needs improvement, you should want to improve this. The brisket literally tastes like peppercorn flavored beefjerkey.

MMMMMMMMMM Cornbread and the butter and honey was on the counter (for the prior visitor who complained about it not coming with either of the two), I had the burnt ends and let me just say MMMMMM! It had so much flavor and was so incredibly tender, ok, seriously,... I need to stop, it really was good, probably will be back there once a week. I was one of the lucky ones who were able to receive some samples of the other sides and they were all great. Pulled pork, and chicken were delicious too! Beans had some meat in them (nice touch), with some sweet and spicy kick, as well... the potato salad, coleslaw, mac n cheese - all nummay. The apple crisp and bread pudding were out of this world good. I even got a little bread too! Service was an all time plus, very fast, very friendly. They even take time to explain the options to you if you are a bit overwhelmed with the menu and choices, and the specials! Dont forget about those. Pricing was reasonable, remember it is BBQ folks, these things take time and effort and are not cheap. If you want cheap go to JIB across the street. I have been to Busters and they were the worst place ever, food was horrible, service was terrible, and this place far exceeded my expectations. I recommend this place - it is priced just right for the service, quality, and time that they clearly put into the food prep. They have all you can eat sauce and help yourself drinks.

Horrible food, horrible service. Dont prolong their agony by patronizing them. To begin with the girl at the cash register cant look you in the eye nor can she speak clearly. We had to ask her numerous times what she said. After everything we ordered, she would mutter "is there anything else?" She obviously thinks that is good service. We had to ask if the dinners came with any sides. Instead of telling us, she points to the sign, while she looks at the floor. Give me a break. When our food came, the cornbread was so hard and dry you couldnt eat.it. the beans taste like B and M right out of the can. My husband had the brisket sandwich which was dry and tasteless. I had the 1/2 chicken which was hard, dry and RAW around the bones. Red, gooey blood vessels. To top this off it cost us $30.00 including 2 beverages. We threw my whole dinner in the garbage, and half of my husbands dinner and left. Oh, and no air conditioning to boot. Must have been at least 90 in there. What a joke. They will be gone shortly. If it was.possible to give 0 stars I would.

Not quite sure how familiar people in Gresham are with traditional southern style bbq, but as someone who moved here from the south, this is definitely not traditional bbq. My cornbread was clearly store bought not made in house my baked beans were clearly generic from a can non name brand beans my girlfriends coleslaw wasnt even sweet traditional southern slaw. No vinegar in or on anything like most traditional bbq would have. The dont even have in house specialty bbq sauce!!! My meat on my sandwhich seemed like it was the bottom of the barrel which I should have expected as much eating here at 730 at night. The food wasnt even that warm to begin with and my soda was flat and watery for crying out loud! I was so excited to eat here and Im pretty disappointed overall. Dont really know if I would ever eat here again to be completely honest. My only suggestion would be if youre gonna do bbq do your research and do it properly dont just throw out product that you could get at a golden corral buffet!!

Went in on a weekday between lunch and dinner, the place was totally dead despite the busy location. The girl at the counter was very nice. I thought immediately it was a bit overpriced, but on reflection I think that was a leftover impression from the prices of the family meals, which I saw first. But after eating I definitely thought it was overpriced for the quality. The sides were so, so, so, SO bland. I had the beans and the mac n cheese. The person I was eating with agreed about the blandness of the beans and was bothered that the cornbread didnt come with butter. The chicken was tender and tasty (but had no BBQ sauce on it?). The sausage was interesting...in a good way, I think, but definitely not a flavor profile Ive ever tasted in sausage before. My companion had the pulled pork which was not real pulled pork but shredded pork. Overall opinion, too pricey for a super-casual place with slightly odd/bland food. Doubt they will last long being so close to Busters.

I decided to give this place a try tonight since it was one of the only options on Uber Eats. My husband and I ordered a pigs pin (Half rack ribs, smoked sausage, brisket +2 sides; we got mac n cheese and potato salad) To make a long story short, the meat was alright, pretty good actually but not what I was hoping for at all. The sides were pretty bad though. The potato salad just wasnt very tasty, and I almost broke my tooth on some unidentified black plastic thing that was in there! The mac n cheese was just beyond bland, could use some seasoning; and the texture... just very dry and grainy. You could get better Mac n cheese from KFC to be completely honest. So, I wasnt satisfied; although this wasnt the worst food Ive ever eaten in my lifetime. I most likely wont return for seconds, I think this was a one time thing for me. I will say this though , they have potential! Theres just lots of room for improvement.
