My favorite place to eat when I go home, been going here since I was a little kid. Ive taken 25 people or more here and almost all of them love it and go on there own now. Theres a trend to this place Ive noticed when taking people , the few who have hated it are upper class people who dont understand why its good so take the negatives with a grain of salt. The food is great and Im sure Ive tried EVERYTHING on the menu by now (the blue cheese salad alone is worth the trip), The place is smart to only take cash and a genius business move by the owners honestly, this really does allow the cost to stay low for as long as it has. I mean seriously maybe .50 more from the 90s for a lunch special, cant beat the minimal change.

We love dining at Sundowners with our family, and often meet with larger family groups and never have a problem finding seating for our larger groups. Lunch specials are the best deal, but everything is reasonably priced. Serving portions are good, food is tasty and prepared well, and there are lots of menu options that ensure everyone leaves happy with their choices. There are vegetarian options as well, and they will make slight modifications (subst. Mushrooms in lieu of meatballs with spaghetti marinara, etc). They serve a great salad, soups are tasty, and there are several dessert options. Come with cash or use their ATM as they accept cash only when purchasing food!

We were impressed with the location. We also had a table out on the patio as the weather was great in January. Some of the food was good and some was OK. The waffles were what you would expect heavy and cake like. They were also not cooked to the crispness that you would like for a Belgium waffle. Basically if you have had a Belgium waffle from a free breakfast at a hotel then you have had these. The Prime Rib was cooked to Well so don’t expect anything less.

Its a nice place, and usually great food. My most recent experience wasnt the best. My daughter spilled her soda, and my son asked someone for a rag so we could clean it up, and they never came. I eventually had to go find someone after I had already received my food. Also, I had ordered the prime rib, which is my go to from here, but it tasted terrible. I hope it was just a bad day, because usually they get a solid 4 stars.

Me and my family have been going to this spot for years since I was a baby. My wife and I would come here for our dinner dates. And now we bring our own little family here to eat. This is a family favorite for us for years. We love it and feel this place has some great food for great prices. It is truly a local restaurant for those who know. Try it if you can it is recommended

Worked many years at Loma linda childrens hospital. This restaurant served us well. We could call our order on, and they would box it up. And have it ready for pick up. Excellent choices, good service, and something for everyone!! I think between all of ux, we have true. Everything on the menu!! I always tell management, please open a Sundowners in Yucaipa!!!

“Birtday celebration” This restaurant is excellent. The view is spectacular and the service is great. They have a Sunset Menu (Early Bird) that includes soup or salad, entrée and dessert and the price is very reasonable. There regular menu is also a great selection of American food. We have been here many time and keep coming back.

First time here i liked it. You enter the menu is on the wall, then you order. Then i was going to pay with a card but oopps CASH ONLY. Luckly they have an ATM. They call your order number and you go pick up like a cafeteria. The best thing was the food definitely going back!!

After eating the delicious mexican food around town for four days, we wanted to mix it up, and wanted to try this place after reading reviews on trip advisor. Love the dog, love the fries, love the gyro! One of the owners was cooking it all up, and he was a cool guy!

Very affordable for a nice lunch !! I always get the Delmonico steak lunch before 5pm ... Its only like $10.50 and you get the meal, your choice of soup or salad and a medium drink ! Super busy during the weekend :o

For the price you pay this is good food. The atmosphere leave some to be desired with its lunch room style rushed ordering and cash only requirement. Table service is non existent other than bus boys/gals.
