Corner Bakery is really fantastic for what it is. Its a chain with good food, great service, wifi, and power outlets. The Steak and Cheese sandwich is surprisingly excellent. Even to Bay Area standards. The service, though, is about the best Ive had anywhere. Even just coming in this past week, one of the cashiers remembers me. Very friendly and fast. I was standing in line and an elderly man dropped a dime after paying for his meal. The cashier came out, picked up the dime, and handed it to him. I was thoroughly impressed. They really care about their customers and it shows. Parking is very ample, with lots of shade. Im withholding a star for either lowering the cost (which might be impossible in the Bay Area), or slightly raising the quality of food and adding more power outlets. Its a very minor nit. This place to me is a solid 4 stars, as in 8/10 -- not on the Lyft/Uber scale where everything is magically 5 stars. All in all, excellent.

If you are in Palo Alto and need to get some work on your laptop done, and thus need a place with solid WiFi and free refills on coffee, then this location of Corner Bakery Cafe is a great choice. Its quiet, I like the food, the coffee is good, and the WiFi has always been reliable. The only downside I can think of is that there are not many electrical outlets available.

Not a good value for money on most items (10 dollars for a greasy grilled sandwich). Just across the road is CIBO which albeit a tad more expensive offers more substantial food....and feels like a proper restaurant. The Corner Bakery Cafe is really offering the most basic food services ...in short its a large greasy spoon for an emergency stop.

Good service and decent food. Ive been here a couple of times already (its just across the hotel Im staying at) and I like it. Their sliced meatball panini in particular is quite good. They list calories throughout their menu (almost everything is around 800, by the way) which helped a lot keep the purchase order under control :-)

The food was average, the house chips tasted really fried (after the first bite I was done). The soda fountain wasnt mixing right, and when staff looked into it they told us it was fine. There was a lot of tagging in the parking lot which made us nervous to stay long or park towards the back. Overall, underwhelming for the price.

My wife and I have been vendors at the Stanford Powwow for the last three years (Native Spirit Handmade Soap) and every year we look forward to eating great breakfasts at the Corner Cafe. Great food, great portions, great staff and very clean. See you next year Corner Cafe!!!

I visited here to buy some birthday cake since I heard their cakes taste good. But there were only two kinds of cakes - cinamon and chocolate - and they even cracked it during packaging by mistake. I suggest that youd better go to Safeway for birthday celebration cakes.

Walking distance from where I was staying so I ate here several times. Each time service was friendly and welcoming. The pancakes are the best, light and fluffy. Salad was fresh and crisp. Ill eat here again next time am in town

Great staff and comfortable setting. Pretty good pricing and portions as well. Great for kids meals and just taking a relaxing but comfy meal. Free WiFi as well, which, is always helpful.

A perfect place to hang out or do some work. The staff is friendly, theres free wifi, free coffee refills, and power outlets (dont be embarrassed to plug into the ceiling).
