Excellent Sushi, great selection of Bento box meals, Soups and Vegetarian selection. Portion servings are generous. Affordably priced menu--$2.95 items - $15.95. Lunch: $6.95- $9.95. Dinners from $8.75-$13.25. Sushi from $2.95 - 10.95. Nigiri 2 piece orders are $2.95- $4.25. Restaurant is exceptionally clean and well lit. Service is friendly. They always bring a fork for my husband, since he is chop-stick challenged. Bathrooms are spotless, restaurant floors are so clean and shiny you could eat off the floor. I have tried just about everything on the menu--only exception has been the scallops-Im not a fan of scallops--so no negative to the restaurant. Hanami does have take out, I prefer to eat at the Restaurant- forgot to mention--Miso soup is served to perfection, not too hot, just enough tofu. Recommend the Caterpillar Sushi Roll, (shrimp tempura, cucumber, topped with avacado). Tempura has the right amount of crunch, you can taste the shrimp with every bite, cucumber is crisp, avacodo is firm and sumptuous. Just too darn good to describe. My mouth is watering... The Dragon Roll is also excellent, same as above served with Eel. The Dinner Specials are quite filling, recommend Salmon Teriyaki and Beef Teriyaki combination. The Noodle Soups are enough for two people, recommend you share Tempura Udon - which is Chicken Tempura and vegetables. Hanami has a large Vegetarian menu as well- Curried Rice with Tofu, Vegi Tempura, Avacado Maki and Seaweed Salad are my daughter in-laws favorites. All food items are fresh, cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. After lunch or dinner go next door for Gelato.

Ive eaten at some very good sushi places - this place is fair for a hole in the wall in a strip center. Salmon Skin hand roll was burnt. All that was in the hand roll was rice and burnt salmon skin flopping out the top of the hand roll. I ordered nigiri sushi - the rice wasnt packed into tight balls, and wasnt very sticky. Just fell apart. I came to Hanami because it was fairly high rated, but I dont know why....

My husband and I recently moved to Morgan Hill and quickly fell in love with this restaurant. At Hanami, we are always greeted with a friendly smile; the service is superb! We love the sushi(especially the dragon roll). We have brought many friends and family members to this restaurant-all of them have loved it-and would recommend this wonderful, family-owned restaurant to everyone!

The sushi here is 5/5. Its a cute restaurant. The staff is nice. This restaurant seems to have one waitress working during busy times which means that you drink refills are slow among other things. My family is a mix of sushi eaters and non-sushi eaters. They have options that those non-sushi lovers will like a lot.

I love Janet (the owner) I have been coming here for the past ten years and she always remembers my family and I. She always makes us feel like family. Her sushi and dinner selection is amazing. I prefer her cooking compared to high end sushi places in Santana Row. Get her salmon skin hand roll!!!!

Absolutely top quality. Consistently great food every time. Super fresh fish. The I order the 6 piece sashimi and request all salmon. It is always fresh and super buttery. YUM!! Their sushi rolls are also great and there chicken teriyaki is nice and tender and not over-sweet.

I loved these sushi!!!! I did not have a chance to check the service, because I had my food "to go"... But the quality of the sushi is absolutely great! 5 stars! Very big pieces. First time in my life, I could not finish my sushi meal! Thank you guys for such a great job!!!

LOVE this place! I dont eat fish, and theres plenty of options! My husband loves it because the variety of sushi rolls. Janet is so nice, addresses us by name, and always greets us with a smile. This is our favorite place and drive from gilroy to eat it! So worth it!

I ordered the sashimi and the meat had little flavor. After the fish sat on the plate for a few minutes, the food coloring they had added to the tuna started seeping out. It was apparent they were not using very high quality meat.

Very good sushi! We ordered a few of their special rolls and a sashimi appetizer. All of the food was fresh and tasty. The restaurant itself is clean, but basic. Not going to impress any dates here, but you can get a good meal.

I SPENT A WEEK IN MORGAN HILL FROM OUT OF TOWN AND ATE HERE 3 TIMES. I EAT SUSHI REGULARLY SO I KNOW QUALITY SUSHI VS CHEAP SUSHI AND THIS PLACE HAS GREAT QUALITY SUSHI. PRICE IS COMPETITIVE WITH OTHER SIMILAR RESTAURANTS.

Sushi quality is the best in Morgan Hill. Miso soup was not too salty. Best off all their salad dressing is a Japanese style dressing. There are lots of roll selections if you like rolls.
