I have to confess, I am not necessarily a jazz person, I go to restaurants for the food. Have been there twice and both times have had an excellent meal. My favorites are the fried green tomatoes! I have made them at home a couple of times but the fried green tomatoes at 88 Keyes have ensured that I dont have to go through that hassle again -- crispy and hot, they are yummy! I also love the braised short ribs -- nice presentation and great flavors. For dessert -- no contest. You gotta have the habanero sorbet. Incredible!!!! The only constructive comment I have is they could work on service...We were there with a party of four and our dishes didnt come out together. Would be nice if everyone at the table got their salads at the same time, entrees at the same time and desserts at the same time. Aside from that, we will definitely be going back!

Went here for New Years eve celebration. The waitresses were great, so were the favors the owners wife handed out, and the live music was fantastic. The food however was terrible, the "creme brulee" was vanilla pudding with caramel sauce drizzled on the plate. On our way out the owner attacked me for not leaving a big enough tip, he proceeded to say that if she was that bad he would fire her. It was very unpleasant, him angrily confronting me in front of all the customers, after our party had just spent $400.00. In order for 88 keys to survive, the owner needs to learn basic manners.

Maybe we were there during off hours, but while we were there, the piano barely played. Service was slow, food was cold, food was mediocre at best, beer was cool, not cold, then served in a warm glass. I was completely unimpressed. I have been to this place about 6 or 8 times. The first time it was great, second was OK, the last several have been bad. Those who seem to love it there must be coming at better times.

Finally live music again on the east side of Highway 101 and Dunne. Mark and Susan opened their restaurant about a month ago. This place has great ambiance and service. I have heard that Las Palmas has live music sometimes, however 88 Keys has “Jazz” and the place was packed last weekend. Looking forward to trying the food, soon. The bartender "Andy" makes a good drink, too.

Stopped in on our way through town and very happy we did. We met the owners and they were wonderful. Our bar tender was very personable and attentive. Of course, it was a Monday and pretty slow, but I read it gets pretty busy on the weekends. We werent hungry, but we ordered some food anyway to munch on and it was fantastic. The meatballs were delicious!

Great Venue for dining and listening to great live music. Mark and Susan has done a wonderful job to bring music just outside of downtown Morgan Hill on the East Side of the 101st. The Chef is phenomenal as well. Nice job! We are very appreciative of your hard work and effort to bring a classy restaurant closer to our home.

Just sat down. Waitress told us, seriously, that it is a two hour wait for food. Music is the best. Waitress said they are waiting for glasses for drinks. Was told that this is typical from a friend with us. She also said that two people called in tonight. Cook is new and only doing one order at a time.

Good place to spend nice evening talking to friends, listening to smooth piano jazz and having nice dinner. Relaxing atmosphere. Everything is great: food, wine, music, interior, friendly staff, prices. Ive been there 3 times and will come back again!

Delicious take on a number of old favorites. Piano bar is great. The owner plays and he brings in great talent. Mikey Day was playing. He is wonderful and also the SJ Sharks organist. Just fun.

I got a weak old fashioned and still-frozen tiramisu. My girlfriend ordered sparkling wine and they gave her a sour beer. Everyone else there was over 60. Laaaaaaaaame.

Live music, great food, friendly staff! Glad we found this somewhat hidden gem. The Chicken Cordon Bleu is wonderful and their piano player can really bang on the keys.
