This place is a spiritual experience after 3 hours of motorcycling the gorgeous twisties that lead up to it. The service was completely warm and welcoming. Everyone smiled and was friendly and down-to-earth. At the same time as it felt familiar and homey, I was still served promptly and professionally. And the food. I never felt like I made love to a hamburger before. I might have blacked out once or twice. I had a 1/2 lb of hand-pressed Wagyu patties surrounding bacon, caramelized onions, mushrooms, covered in brie, encased in the perfect burger accouterments. Then, as if that wasnt enough, whole-potato fries and the most incredible selection of BBQ sauces, each one a happy adventure. I would sincerely drive the 3 hours from San Francisco to eat here. Without a stitch of pretense, this place gets my vote for the best burger in a days-drive radius. I hope my next encounter with this legendary restaurant—oh, and there will be a next—will equal my first, and if it does, I might just permanently move to the Frank Raines camping site down Del Puerto Canyon Rd., as there will be nothing left for me here in the city by disappointment and longing. Go there.

I feel bad that I had never stopped here until now, but the exterior sorta scared me away. Family run, freshly made BBQ with a delicious assortment of sides that all exceeded expectations. My buffalo burger was well seasoned and perfectly juicy so that it just melted in my mouth. The tri tip sandwich my girlfriend had tasted so good I couldnt help but come back for more. I also really enjoyed the super friendly server and the western decor helped set a relaxed mood. Ill be sad to see these guys go January 31st. Hopefully the next owners are just as good!

On a hot day after a long ride through the middle of a most beautiful nowhere (even though you are at most 15 miles from a million people), you come upon this ramshackle at the only juncture in the road for almost 50 miles and at this spot lies plenty of cold beer and and grilled burgers. Now how about that? Oh and hey now, if you can find the fresh laid eggs for sale somewhere nearby (if you can still get them), you better get all you can carry, because folks have been known to eat a whole dozen at one sitting (they are that good, city boy)......

Stopped in for a bit with my family after making a 2 1/2 one way trip from the awesome park in the middle of nowhere. We had our dog in the back of the car and the guy who was working asked if he could set her in the shade by the picnic table. Then he asked us if he could bring her some water and BAKEN.....yeah!!!! By far the best customer service we have had in CA. Food was delicious and cheap. Made our day.....thanks guys!

This place is so nice. Tucked in the middle of nowhere, it is a friendly oasis set up for laid back folks that like to ride (motorcycles or bicycles). The new owners have brought in barbecue and so far (twice) I have been very pleased with what Ive had. The outdoor seating is great and I love the dogs hanging out...Keep up the good job and thanks for being there!

This is a nice little stop for adventurers running up and over Mt. Hamilton. It has plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas for shade, a little cornhole area, and lots of views of the brown plant life. Friendly staff, decent food for the price. Popular with motorcyclists who ride the twisty roads in the area.

Good beer, good food and good people the way it should be. I like to get away and come up and enjoy the drive with the family, usually stop in for a burger and a beer, Im never disappointed with this place or the people who own it or work there. There is always plenty to see with all the bikes coming through.

Wonderful place to stop for (human powered and motor)cyclists - theres no other reason to be out here! Juicy and reasonably priced burgers and good beer selection. This place has changed management a few times in the past few years and the newest owners are doing a great job and are extremely friendly!

Best and ONLY place to get a burger on Mines Road. Love this place! On any given Saturday you could be sitting next to a local Rancher, a Harley Rider, a Sportbiker, or a Bicycle Rider. Also a great place to see a wide variety of Motorcycles, from a Desmosedici to a Harley Electra Glide. .

Like an oasis in the desert. The Junction is far from civilization but serves as a meeting place for car and motorcycle enthusiasts. Food is typical American fare but good quality. Beers on tap are delicious. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

Due to the twisty roads it take to get to The Junction, it makes for a great motorcycle meet up, lunch or just a place to hang out for us motorcyclest. So why not enjoy an awesome drive while on your way to eat an awesome burger!

Its quite far and rough around the edges. Its like a dive bar but renovated. The food was fine I was just a little thrown off by how many people were hammered by 7pm.
