I have no idea how this restaurant got 4 stars. I went in yesterday for dinner with friends for a reservation, they just pointed where our seats should be, placed menus on the table and walked away. We were waiting for over 20 minutes with no one really welcoming us, saying hello, offering us water, bread, etc. We ended up getting up and leaving! Im not gonna give money to a restruant that does not know proper customer service! I can understand if the restaurant was busy but it wasnt. Dont waste your time going to this restaurant

Mamá will greet you at the front door like you aré family. She will seat you and tell you to enjoy the meal.

If Michael, the Chef and one of the owners is there, order the lamb chops. Best in Marin. Noreen, his partner, manages the restaurant and really makes you feel like you aré in her home.

To top all that off, theyve even made the place accessible for those of us using wheelchairs, with accessible parking, tables and bathrooms

This is the best chicken in the world , nothing better I speak San Francisco at stop and take him every other day from Michael small place on Union and ability absolutely awesome and the awesome part of it is it still is awesome even though its in Millvalley just order the chicken v and carrots greens and you cant nothing better with that whatever Michael uses

The food itself was good. It was a little pricey. 3 star s off because the parmesan was pre-grated sawdust, but mostly because of the slow service in a near empty restaurant. It took 50 minutes from when we walked in to when appetizer was served. Also the waitress sat down to eat with the customers. Seemed like poor food handling and also slowed down service.

Charming & cozy atmosphere with delicious authentic Italian food. Service was superb. Italian food served by real Italians? Imagine! Mama greets at the door. Food tasted wonderful. Wine was good. Desserts are AMAZING! Price reasonable for the quality & ambiance.
