A few years ago this great little gem was an unknown but it has since really seemed to explode in popularity, getting quite busy in the evenings and on the weekends. This place was originally built as a McDonalds (and briefly became a Fish and Chips place after McDs closed down) but looking at it now you would never know that, it has been extensively remodeled inside and out to look like a beautiful little Japanese sushi house. The sushi is great and the prices are just about what youd expect from a sushi restaurant. The menu changed a few months back and then changed again a few weeks later. I still prefer their original menu but the latest version offers some good options of sushi combos and regular dinner entrees as well.

Their restaurant sign was ASAHI SUSHI They serve Japanese menus. But actually Korean and no Japanese workers. I had a lunch combination with choice of Tempura and Bulgogi. A waitress wasnt pleasant first of all. I had a iced tea but I was never asked for refill or anything else. Beef was like a rubber, very chewy and hard to eat. It was unlike Bulgogi. Tempura sauce was too little. Salad leafs was spoiled wasnt washed and carefully picked well before they serve. A table and a menu was very sticky. The restaurant looks nice on the outside. thats all.

This is the best sushi in Northridge, CA. My wife and I went to 20 other places before we found this place. They have been doing so well they recently remodeled the place. Great service and personality. Wonderfully creative rolls like their Big Tuna, Hawain, and BBQ Beef Short Rib Roll. Most important of all they have ice cold soju, a lively crowd, and very very fresh food.

This place is great, my favorite place for sushi. You have to try their Fantasy roll its amazing. Mike the waiter is an excellent positive individual thatll lighten up your day. Great ambiance.

Really fantastic new bar. Drinks are great, live music is cool, bartenders are really nice. Would like to check out more of the shows but my timing is always bad. Check it out!

The food is great. My favorites are the Green Beans and Garlic and the Avocado salad. They make great California Rolls. Even the food I havent tried looks amazing.
