I went there yesterday (August 16) at around 5 30 pm to buy an evolution sweet greens drink, and to my surprise the drink expired about a week prior! (on August 10). I didnt notice until after I drank most of the drink. And thats not the worst part, when I went up to the register to tell them very nicely about the issue, one of the workers was beyond rude and unprofessional. They refused to accept the drink was bought there and did not help at all. I had to leave feeling beyond unsatisfied. Im so disappointed that a place like Starbucks has such poor quality products and service.

Every town has a good Starbucks and a bad one. This is the bad one. Theyre always way, way understaffed. Ive written the District Manager about it twice and she never wrote me back. You know that old Lily Tomlin SNL sketch "Were the phone company. We dont care. We dont have to?" Thats this Starbucks. its the only drive-through Starbucks in town, so they dont care. They dont have to. Be prepared to wait a long, long time here. Avoid and go to the one in El Cerrito Plaza if you can.

I stopped here to pass the time while waiting for a friend, and I really enjoyed my time. The staff is friendly, and they know their customers. An employee even rushed outside to catch up with a drive-thru customer who had forgotten something. The lounge area is clean despite a lot of foot traffic, and the staff does a good job keeping supplies filled. My recommendation for this location would be to install more power outlets and make USB power ports available.

Its an ok place. Im a Peets coffee fan because in the past, I thought SBS coffee was pretty weak but its actually not bad at all now (maybe the previous SBs Id been too used less grounds when brewing, or maybe Im just mental?!?!) Be great if they had more seating and more outlets for phone/laptop. It can get pretty busy at this location. Its always clean. Staff could be a bit more friendly.

Great location. But hey, its Starbucks. For more kick, try the Peets at the corner of San Pablo and Carlson. The main reason Ill go to this store is the drive through. But frankly, its faster to go inside. So its really only useful when youre feeling ultra lazy or if you have a sleeping toddler in the back seat.

Theres only one thing that really bothers me about the Starbucks is that they dont really have signs outside so its kind of hard to tell whether its open or not but the last couple has to be that theres no actual garbage cans outside so thats kind of weird service and food was excellent

Everytime i have gone to this place they get my order wrong and are very slow! People i know have Also gone there and dislike the service. They are much more focused in the drive thru and do not serve the orders fast.

This is seriously the fastest Starbucks drive through Ive been to. They had my drink before I had my payment out. And they even processed my multiple payment methods quickly too. Cashier was super nice.

This Starbucks is great as they use easy to identify labels so you know which coffee drink is yours if you miss the personal calling of your name. They are fast, efficient, and friendly.
