I first went to Café Grace in Oct. 2016 and had a wonderful experience. Food, service and drinks were all terrific. I hosted 5 other people on 1/14/17 with a much different experience. Three of the meals were served overcooked. Two pork entrees and one duck entrée were dry and tough. The sauce for the duck was limited and inadequate. The duck was unevenly salted with a strong salt taste on one side of the leg. We chose not to complain at the time as the restaurant was jumping. I sent an email to the restaurant as I prefer not to complain publicly before notifying the business. 1/18/17 I received a phone call today which I thought was a great start. I will definitely give the restaurant another chance and hope that I can amend my review at that time.

We chose Grace to celebrate our anniversary and it was the perfect choice. I believe we will make it a tradition! The staff was gracious and welcoming. Our server Alan was impeccable. The ambiance was charming. The food was scrumptious. We ordered the Lyonaisse salad, the rib eye for two and the lemon meringue tarte with raspberry for dessert. The portions were very generous and beautifully presented. We chose to eat in doors even though they had a perfectly charming outdoor dining area on this beautiful August evening. Thank you Grace for a memorable evening.

In our table of four, we sampled several delectable choices from the menu. You must start with the gougeres. They are little pastries filled with cheese...mmmm...wonderful. Then you must have the soupe a loignon. Yes, Ive had french onion soup lots of places but this was rich, thick, and cheesey. A meal in itself. We enjoyed steak frites, duck with orange sauce, and the pork chop. Everything was heavenly. If you have room, try the warm chocolate cake. It is literally a little taste of heaven. Klayton and Paul, thank you for a wonderful evening.

interesting that Cafe Grace has Bartolottas name for assurance of goodness and yet when we turned in our $100,00 gift card AFTER we ate we were told that it was not good at any of the Bartolottas restaurants in the Mayfair Collection. So we had to shell out $110.00 and it all felt very dirty, sneaky and so unfair to us. No, we would not have spent $110 of our own money this way....PLEASE post on your site or on the door BEFORE one orders and eats that Brtolottas gift cards are not valid at your restaurant.

It was a wonderful experiance! The atmosphere is traditional French cafe, very welcoming and warm. Every detail was executed to perfection, especially the bread!!! The waiter was very kind and offered suggestions. The food was spectacular! I have never been let down by chef Mutchlers dishes. My fish was a perfect mix of buttery goodness and vegtables. My husband got the roti de jour, it was mouth watering. The whole night was a wonderful experience and I am sure to go back many many times!

Husband and I had mussels and ribeye for two You know the food is prepared well when no salt or pepper is needed. We had a citrus tart and sorbet sampler for dessert. The amount of food is perfect - you are satisfied but not stuffed when you leave. The drink menu is very nice - the had an Aviation which is one of my favorites. This is a wonderful place for a nice dinner with friends or a relaxing dinner for a couple. I will definitely come back.

Despite hearing a lot about the new Bartollata restaurants in Tosa, I learned dont go to Cafe Grace if you intend to use a Bartollatas gift card. After dinner when we received the bill, we discovered that we would have to pay without the gift card--ouch, $100 I was not ready to fork over. Grace has no mention of this on its website nor at the restaurant itself although the manager told me that they encounter this situation daily.

We came for brunch on a Saturday. The atmosphere was nice. They were not busy. The food was overpriced, my cup of pistou soup was filled halfway in the cup, no one came to refill our coffee cups or asked how our food was. They forgot my soup and brought it when my dining partner was almost finished with her food. We had to ask for our check. Poor service and overpriced. I would not go back.

For how much you pay and for what you get for portion size you can buy all ingredients and have left overs for two days and still have enough to buy a $20 DVD, snacks, drinks, and than some. It is good food, and the building is new and very clean. The waiter was nice and so was the staff.

Great not-pretentious French restaurant. Food, drinks and service were all great. We had the Menu du Jour (3 pre-set courses for $40), escargot, oysters, lovely desserts and cocktails. Our server was spot-on with recommendations and very personable.

Fantastic experience. We did the Menu du Jour with the wine paring, which was just amazing. The food and the wine complimented each other perfectly. Friendly and knowledgable staff.
