When we first arrived the chef was outside, by the entrance smoking a cigarette. We were drawn to the restaurant because of a sign that stated homemade ice cream. The restaurant no longer has homemade ice cream and uses Dreyers ice cream in its place. We sat down to have dessert. While we were waiting, we decide to take it to go instead. We had ordered a crème brûlée and an apple dessert. They bagged the desserts, but when we opened the bag we discovered that they just dumped the desserts in the takeaway boxes. The apple desser was thrown on top of the ice cream, so you could tell they dumped it upside down into the box. The crème brûlée looked like someone just scooped it into the box. I wouldnt have an issue, but the place is marketing itself as a higher end restaurant and this was not high end quality nor customer service. i definitely would not recommend it to anyone I know. I eat out frequently and have been all over the world. I know good food when I see it. This aint it.

I wish I lived in Corpus Christi so that I could eat here again and again. BB is a quiet downtown restaurant with an attentive wait staff and wonderful and imaginative menu options. We started with the grilled romaine salad, which had a nice smoky flavor. The, we shared the bay scallops appetizer, which were unforgettable. I too, found myself talking about how delicious they were long into the night! For an entree, we had the sea bass over whipped potatoes, also fabulous. The entrees came with two side choices and I loved the spinach. The baked mac and cheese was also. Excellent wine list and delicious desserts. Having grown up in Corpus Christi, I think a restaurant of this caliber is long overdue. Do yourself a favor and eat here.

Went for Valentines Day. The menu was changed from what was shown on the website. We left with sticker shock. Not informed that it was a fixed price menu at $75 each. The food and service was great but certainly not worth that HIGH PRICE! Over $200. Drinks were overpriced too. The Truffles were like jaw breakers. Overall - less than expected, disappointed in the price and no plans to return again, especially not for Valentines day.

For a French person the food was ok. A little pricey. The chicken was ok, the whipped potatoes, spinach, and French fries were very good, the croque monsieur had good flavor but disappointingly was served on a hamburger bun with the top cut off ( not how it is supposed to be). I think the most disappointing part though was the wait, there was no one else in the restaurant area maybe 3 at the bar yet it took more than 30min to get our food.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the duck breast. I had it for new years one year and I order the same plate every time I go. The restaurant is elegant, quiet and a great romantic place to dine at. Ive ordered the duck breast at other restaurants and none have been as amazing as this one. They hosted a great New Years dinner! Great restaurant!

We were refused service. Instead of saying we are full and itll take a little time for a table to free up, the hostess outright refused service. I think it is racially motivated. Would never recommend this place to anyone. If the management really cares about the image of their restaurant, let them reply to this comment.

Love the ambience here! Small, quiet and romantic. The server my husband and I had was AWESOME. I can not remember her name, Andy maybe? She had some cool pink hair! Best service I have had in a long time. I asked her if the chef could prepare my calamari Gluten Free and they did! It was soon good! Cant wait to go back

One of two of my favorite places to eat in Corpus Christi. I love their food, and their old time cocktails are on point. You can easily blow a good deal of money here (main course is typically between $20 and $30 per person, and cocktails are between $7 and $10, I believe), but Ive never regretted it.

When we entered no one was there to greet us, we waited a few minutes while some of the staff came from the back. I ordered a wedge salad with blue cheese dressing when in actuality it was ranch dressing with blue cheese crumble. The main course lacked flavor. Over priced with an average taste.

Decided to try it the other night. The escargot was amazing, the service was excellent, the dinner plates were delicious and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Perfect for a date night. No its not cheap but Its definitely worth it, I have no problem spending extra for an amazing meal.

I was invited to this bistro for a business lunch and both the service and food were fantastic. The server provided just the right amount of service to be helpful without being intrusive so that we could get our business taken care of and the Blue Burger hit the spot!

Went there for a wedding reception and was VERY disappointed. For my wife and I, the bill came to $107. The food literally took hours. When I got it, my steak was cold and still mooing. Drinks barely refilled. Automatic 20% gratuity wad undeserved.

One of our favorite restaurants in town. Great service and great food. We have eaten there many times for dinner and have never had a bad experience. I would recommend it to anyone. Great atmosphere.
