Drove all the way from Holmen just to make it in time for a burger and ice cream after moving all day. We get there and asked if it was okay to order she said" its still before 10". Got to the window and apologized because I knew they were closing soon and a young blonde rolled her eyes and shut the window on me. I was watching as she made my sundae and picked up a dirty rag to wipe off the sides. They told us to pull up to number one but the place was closed so I asked if it would be okay if we waited here ( I was uncomfortable with them making my food) and he told me I had to multiple times...even though they hand food out the window directly to us on plenty of occasions. He continued to be rude so we asked for a refund. We should have went to culvers. Worst service ever

I went there to get my wife a royal strawberry cheesecake blizzard, and the person at the counter had no idea what I was talking about. I did receive the correct item, but they didnt do the flip thing even though the commercial says they are supposed to do that. When I told them that I should get a free blizzard, because of the commercial, they told me "oh we dont participate in that promotion." My wife thinks the reason why they dont is because they would have failed the flip test; since it was somewhat soft. She also didnt get many strawberries in it. The restaurant was clean though.

They screwed up my food twice! First it was fine but second time the crackhead looking manager was dramatic and threw my entire combo meal and had them remake it. Like its our fault they screwed it up. When we were done eating we were going to get ice cream all we had was a 50$bill she said NO! Tried saying they had no change. They were busy and said they didnt have change. She was just being a baby bc THEY screwed up order! I love eating there and getting smoothies but Ill stick to drive thru for now on to avoid her snaggle tooth looking ass!!!!!!!

The manager is so rude. She treats her young employees unfairly and horribly. While I was there, she was yelling at a young girl who was making my blizzard just because the lid fell off the cup when it was being made. The manager needs to look at herself in the mirror and relearn how to give good customer service and how to treat her employees. I hope this younglings have the guts to quit and leave if she continues to treat them like this. That is NOT how your first job should be like. For ice cream cakes, I am going to Cold Stone!

Rude customer service. Do not like that the south side and Onalaska one are not affiliated, when I have coupons for the "Onalaska" specific one, the La Crosse DQ will honor it. However, at the Onalaska DQ, they will NOT honor the La Crosse one at all. Even if its just a honest mistake. The Onalaska location CHARGES for just SWITCHING a candy in a blizzard.. I understand if youre adding candy, but not just switching the candy!

Paula Koster, the manager (who claims she is the owner) is verbally abusive, aggressive, and downright mean to her employees. The real owner is very nice, but he doesnt work here. Be ready to hear the screaming and insanity at the poor people who do work here. They are always hiring, why? Because abusive bosses are something no one should live with.

Wanted a medium cone in a dish with cherry topping. Was charged for a Sunday because I asked for no cone. When I said fine Ill take the cone on the side i was told no. Hubby even said sometimes blizzard pieces all the way through and sometimes only on top. Plus this Dairy Queen refuses to do the upside down blizzard!!

Worse place ever. They screwed up all three of my blizzards and when I told the manager she got in my face and started yelling saying I asked for all of them to be peanut butter cups. No I didnt because my classmate is allergic to peanut butter. I have never met a worse manager ever in my life.

Its not bad. The restaurant was recently renovated and updated. It looks very nice, compared to what it uses to be. We were there for ice cream one night and the employees were covered in brown spots-chopped nuts perhaps? Perhaps an apron would help.

The food is good and the staff are friendly. This is very close to the State bike trail head excellent for biking and walking. It is centrally located on the highway in Onalaska! It very easily accessible by bike or car!

This great locally owned Dairy Queen supports the community, especially CMN. Very clean, friendly crew, customer focused. Great food served quickly, fresh and hot. Great place. Tom and Paula are great owners of this DQ.

I have never been so DISGUSTED in ALL OF MY LIFE. There was mold growing on the fountain pops heads, and my blizzard wasnt even FULLY BLENDED... Terribly slow service from apparently untrained staff. NEVER GOING BACK

The ice cream machines are not cleaned on a regular basis... The workers are rude and understandably so because of their apparently mentally deficient manager who looks like a meth head who doesnt brush her teeth.

Went on a saturday. Night. No place to park because of muscle cars. Exhaust everywhere and service took 15 mins for 2 cones for $6...WAY TO LOUD LIVE BAND...NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY

Ive yet to have a bad visit to this DQ. It has a standard Grill and ice cream menu. It should be noted though that the drive thru does back up at certain points in the day.
